Deus Ex Human Revolution (2011) Official Cinematic 8K Trailer [HighK AI Upscaled Remastered]

It's important that the next Deus Ex goes back to smaller hubs, contrary to DXMD and Cyberpunk 2077

I think that the manpower required to craft a huge world takes away from the fine tuning of small and big parts of the project, like game balance and the questes, respectively.

I still say, Deus Ex has much more interesting mechanics than Cyberpunk and I love it! Cyberpunk is amazing too but I can't forget the joy of playing Jensen

1080Ti + 4k monitor - Optimal Settings for Mankind Divided? First playthrough

    Posted: 28 Dec 2020 09:13 PM PST

    Hey,

I've googled my butt off here but can't find optimal settings for my configuration.

    I have a PC with...

    • i7-8700k
    • EVGA 1080 Ti SC2
    • 1TB NVME 960 EVO - game is on this drive
    • 4k-3840x2160/27"/IPS/2ms/FreeSync monitor compatible with GSync

So far I can't run the game exclusive fullscreen cause the aspect ratio is off, and I've tried the steam guide a few times even with Watchdogs 2, I just can't get success deleting that weird 4096x2140 resolution.

I've tried putting the resolution down to 2560x1600, which seems like a last resort so far, wish the game had a render resolution slider so it upscaled better, and a aspect ratio selection as well.

    MD New Game+ issues

    Posted: 28 Dec 2020 01:50 PM PST

So I just completed the game on I Never Asked For This and I'm trying to start a New Game+ from that, but for some reason I'm not able to, with the NG+ starting with my gear from my very first playthrough from years ago rather than the inventory/augs from the playthrough I just did. Since I Never Asked For This starts from a fresh game save/empty inventory etc, I was under the impression that I'd be able to start a NG+ from its saves but haven't been able to.

It's been a while since I've started a fresh NG+, but I'm pretty sure I remember it used to ask if I wanted to overwrite the current NG+, and have found similar stuff online saying that is the case. However, I didn't get anything like that today (after going through the entirety of the credits three times to make sure, which has driven me insane) so I'm not sure if I'm missing something or if there's truly no way to change what save your NG+ starts from.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Going to play Deus Ex for the first time! Just wanted to post about that on here. May write down observations as they come to me.

I'm a big fan of DX: HR. That game got me into transhumanism and I'd love to get my body modified with prosthetics in the future. For a long time, I considered playing the original Deus Ex. But I never got to it. I looked at YT videos and felt turned off by the game's graphics (Deus Ex hasn't aged well and frankly didn't look great even in 2000). Maybe I was afraid of the hype around Deus Ex? What if I didn't enjoy the game even though it's legendary?

Shut down the doubts, I told myself! I finally bit the bait and downloaded the game today. (I already got the Kentie's mods and stuff.) I'm going to do a blind playthrough with no expectations of the game.

Is it possible to make this post into a journal/mini-blog as I play through the game? I wish there was a way to do that on Reddit! In any case, I'll post my thoughts if people are interested. Thanks for reading!
