Display Error - DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE__HUNG Posted: 12 Aug 2021 09:28 AM PDT I've seen a handful of others post about this already, but figured I'd share my experience with this error. I have the steam version of this game, and have posted it on the forums there as well. After spending some time tweaking the settings to a desirable compromise (nothing on ultra), I had no significant issues up until I first reached the northern district of Prague. I started getting the display driver error and my loading times began taking what felt like a couple minutes to load (sometimes they would hang indefinitely and I'd have to force close the program). I reinstalled the game on my SSD, which seemed to resolve my issue - loading times normal, at the very least. After returning from Golem City, however, the display driver error resurfaced and was more frequent. Trying to ignore it, I finally reached a roadblock when I got to the NSN device mission. The auto-save upon loading into the virtual meeting room would crash with that error without fail every time. Having tried all other feasible options up to that point, I lowered my resolution a bit and set all additional graphic options to their lowest value, which resolved the issue. This was about an hour or so ago, and I've since restored my original settings. It sucks being on edge about inevitable crashes, because I've been enjoying this game so far otherwise. DX12 and MSAA have been disabled from the very beginning, exclusive fullscreen active. I've already tried other various suggestions here and elsewhere, such as the regedit fix and increasing my page file size - no luck. Anyone have any more tips from their own experience? SPECS - Windows 10 (latest updates), AMD Ryzen 7 3700X (3.6Ghz), 16gb Ram, Nvidia RTX 3070 (drivers up to date) Computer is only a few months old, fresh install and everything. As partially mentioned above, none of my settings are on ultra (mostly high and a couple very high). I've got Vsync enabled exclusively through my control panel with a cap of 60fps (monitor is 144hz). [link] [comments]
Tips for my first playthrough of Deus ex? Posted: 12 Aug 2021 01:47 AM PDT What are some useful tips you would have wanted before playing Deus ex? I have only played HR. Planning on doing the entire franchise now. Pls keep it spoiler free! [link] [comments]
Posted: 12 Aug 2021 05:07 AM PDT This, assuming it didn't rewrite JC's brain, and didn't go completely off the rails. [link] [comments] |
