Holy shit! Deus Ex Human Revolution Posted: 13 May 2020 09:54 AM PDT Man! Deus Ex Human Revolution. Holy shit! I quick saved and loaded all four choices but I still can't choose. By choose I mean an ending that satisfies my brain. I empathize with human ambition to overcome natural obstacles and the card dealt by the gods but Sarif's choice will give too much power to corporations. I truly believe Sarif is a good if not relatively good guy but people like him are too far and few between. Most are like Zhao, power-hungry and bent on controlling something they can't comprehend to the bitter end. I know absolute freedom is absolute chaos but what gives limited number of people the authority what and how humankind should progress? It just gives government too much power. And conversing with Taggart's retinue back in server room they are the most hateful group so far. And Taggart's conspiracy with Hugh Darrow highlights that governments and corporations are two sides of the same coin. And his betrayal of Sandoval illustrates that he's as power-hungry as Zhao and to him the end justifies the means. I agree with Hugh that in an ideal world the truth will set us free. But we're not living in one. IRL one man's shoddy research paper destroyed decades of vaccination efforts and brought back diseases we forgot the names of. Imagine that Hugh's message that every achievement, every betterment humanity has done is just for the sake of illuminati or chosen few because they let them... I think that sacrificing the Panchaea and burying the truth seems like a noble cause. Let humanity sort what to do on their own, without interference by people like Darrow, Sarif or Taggart. But others will take on their mantle. New corporations, new administrations will try to change the player outcome while illuminati or the council or whatever will still play the fate of humanity like chess pieces. DAMN! Rainbow reflections in Mankind Divided Posted: 13 May 2020 05:21 AM PDT Has anyone else run into this issue it's not a constant thing and can be fixed with a quick restart I have my suspicions it is DX12 [link] [comments] | ||
Posted: 13 May 2020 12:25 PM PDT After so many years I'm finally doing pacifist/ghost/foxiest play through. And pretty early I've met a problem - boxguard in FEMA Camp goes into perma alert mode after taking out human guards. So i after throw EMP grenade he goes hostile and this ruins Ghost bonus. I've actually double checked this by speed running to Barret before and after. Any ideas how to kill it without ruining Ghost ? [link] [comments] |
