- 10mm?
- Might be a bit weird, but i think the german voice of Adam Jensen sounds way better than the original.

Posted: 14 May 2020 05:29 PM PDT I feel like the game never got the praise and success it deserved (it flopped). Its not perfect by any means and they definitely should have fleshed out the story more (although its strange how this game got so much hate for that but GoW which is literally a prologue didn't). But when you look at how generic most AAA games are, it really feels refreshing. Its more quality over quantity. There are no repetitive "collect this", "destroy dozens of enemy camps" type of missions. Instead every side mission has an interesting story and characters & choices to make. The world follows the same approach. Instead of thinking bigger is better, we get a smaller world but its so fun to explore. It feels like at every corner there is some info to discover and it feels alive. Every mission has multiple approaches as well without becoming repetitive. Maybe I'm being a fanboy but I think this game is underrated. Its a shame we will likely never see a sequel Thoughts? [link] [comments]

Posted: 14 May 2020 05:16 PM PDT I've always found it interesting that both DX1 and DXHR pistols are chambered in 10mm rather than the far more common 9mm (though to be fair the description in DX1 more closely matches .40S&W which was popular with law enforcement at the time DX1 came out). Is there any in universe explanation for the caliber choice? [link] [comments]
Posted: 14 May 2020 11:38 PM PDT I'm a native German in 99% of the cases, i love to still play games in the English language, because usually the German dubs aren't that good or don't carry over the same meanings and jokes and whatnot. But not with Deus Ex: HR and Deus Ex: MD, i feel like they nailed it there. Adam doesn't sound as.... bland. [link] [comments]
Posted: 14 May 2020 08:47 PM PDT I just finished a Playthrough on Permadeath Difficulty and got Pacifist to Pop as well. I swear it was a perfect run, I got a few Suspicions and Searching but no Hostile and No Alarms. So why didn't the Trophy Pop? I contacted Vega at GARM and Neutralized all 11 Guards at the party. How many percent of Deus Ex you're expecting in Cyberpunk 2077? Posted: 14 May 2020 07:12 PM PDT Also, are you expecting strong, complex, rich and literary story writing as that of the original Deus Ex? [link] [comments]
I know this is very late, but I am enjoying exploiting DX:MD to hell Posted: 14 May 2020 02:57 PM PDT I just found out that you can complete the gallois quest peacefully and them just unlock all lockers he has, turn invisible and loot them, AND THEN JUST SELL THEM TO GALLOIS HIMSELF MUAHAEUHAUEHAEUHAE. It's not even half of the game and I already have more than 35k accumulated, even bought all praxis from tars by doing this (and I am also playing in the second highest dfficulty because I am not doing NG+ yet). Fixing Banded Shadows Deus Ex 1 Posted: 14 May 2020 11:46 AM PDT https://imgur.com/gallery/KYB31os Hey folks, I want to play Deus Ex: GOTY with texture filtering disabled, but the issue I am having is that this also makes the shadows banded and awful. Is there a way to disable texture filtering without ruining the shadows? [link] [comments]
