Is the DLC for Mankind Divided worth it?
Would you get augmentations IRL if/when they exist?

Is the DLC for Mankind Divided worth it?

Hi everyone. The entire Deus Ex franchise is on sale on Steam, and I plan on purchasing HR and MD. I've never played or known much about the series prior, just that the box art and TF2 promotional items looked cool. I've looked into the games and they seem super fun and very much up my alley. I only have $9 worth of Steam funds to spend on the games. Would it be worth it to buy the digital deluxe edition of Mankind Divided? It costs a few extra dollars and includes the season pass, which I'm not sure if it is worth it for the two story DLCs and consumable items. I could spend this money elsewhere on something like a cheaper, old PC game (such as the first, which I plan on playing much later after some backlog clearing) later down the line, so saving these dollars could be more useful than purchasing DLCs.

Also, I've heard some say that the Director's Cut of HR isn't as good as the original. Is this true? Is there a big difference? If so, how can I acquire the original on PC?

Edit: I just purchased the regular edition of MD, as I didn't end up having enough funds for the Deluxe Edition. My mistake. I would still appreciate answers to the questions though.

So playing the games has made me wonder how many people would augment themselves if Deus Ex styles augmentations existed IRL. Personally I definitely would as long as neuroprosthesis rejection was not a thing like it is in Deus Ex.
