    Just started playing HR again after about 10 years. And...it holds up so well.

    I'm playing it maxed out on PC and it just holds up so well. The lighting, material quality, and reflections were and are stellar. Most of all, I am JAMMING to the music, my dudes.

    I guess I just expected to load it up and be disappointed it didn't live up to how I remember it from back in the day. But, I was wrong. I'm having a blast.

    Just wanted to pop in with some positivity :)

    I just scrambled to update my bachelor's thesis after watching Deus Ex: Human Revolution on AGDQ

    Just a few minutes ago DX:HR was run on Games Done Quick. It's one of my favorite games so I decided to watch the run, and at the end, when I realized that it contain the perfect quote for my essay... Due to be turned in at midnight (CET; 20 minutes ago).

    The material I used

    A mad scramble ensues when I realize I have 15 minutes to find my document, a video to transcribe from, transcribe the quote I wanted, put it in the thesis, give it the correct format, cite the game, add it to the references (find who have the rights to the game and who published it) and find the online portal to re-upload my document.

    With 5 minutes to go I managed to do it!

    My thesis is an ethnographic study of Hannah Arendt's concepts of The Archimedean Point & Earth Alienation. Without having to explain the convoluted theories, it's basically that we're no longer viewing the world from our own subjectivities but an imagined objective distance. This, in turn, causes to be unable to think what we are doing, that technological and scientific process (even if it changed human nature) is done absentmindedly.

    The quote I added really is the perfect representation of the mentality that Arendt was concerned about... 60 years before DE:HR was published! She worried about Sputnik and space exploration, Adam worried about Transhumanism.

    Can someone help me find a track from the Mankind Divided soundtrack?

    As we all know the soundtracks for both HR and MD are fantastic. I keep listening to the MD soundtrack in particular and it just gets better and better.

    However, I was listening to a mix on youtube and noticed a track I hadn't heard before: https://youtu.be/w8TGZYc2xtc?t=9680

    The creator of the mix calls it System Rift Ambient and it has this great synth melody which seems to be a sped up altered version of the melody from the end of the Main Menu Theme.

    I assume it is a track from the System Rift OST, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere online. Does anyone here know where to find or listen to this track?

    So yeah was playing deus ex mankind divined and when talking to that safir guy at adam's home and they were wondering why adam wasn't recognized by his agitations serial numbers i thought that what if adam jensen is really a clone?? Like the original jesnen died and the guy in mankind divined is just a clone. I don't really know all the details i never played human revolutions but what do you think???
