    First off I love Deus Ex, I played it when it first came out and I remember it being the most earth shattering game I'd ever played. I love both Human Revolutions and Mankind Divided, but going back through and replaying Deus Ex in its original form really makes me realize how far we've come with modern games. Things like voice acting and the lack of auto saving to even the level design have all come so far since the game came out. I've had to replay the same damn chapter 3 and a half times because I forget to quick save every 30 seconds lol. I know its almost 20 years old and was ground breaking for it's time, but it just shows how far weve come with games as a medium.

    Just finished the game, am I right to assume that it was something like MGSV in terms of playing not as a main character but as his clone? Considering that the real Adam is probably dead and in that box in Versalife vault, we're playing as a clone I guess. And this clone was made ultimately by Illuminati and the psychologist girl is working for them too. Ok. So all of the events happening in this game and all of the "missions" Adam completed were supposed to somehow benefit Illuminati, right?

    It's just that I'm so confused by story in both HR and now MD, this is incredible how they've managed to put so many characters and events in these games.
    Also in which order should I go for DLCs?

    Yet another thing I never noticed in HR till now, a shop keeper in the Alice Garden Pods that's just in a secluded place, god I love this game

    Elon Musk read my mind when he posted his Twitter avatar as Deus Ex earlier this year. I actually considered doing the same, before he beat me to it.

    It is hard to overemphasize the sheer number of close parallels between various Deus Ex franchise plot elements and what is going on in today's real world. I can't possibly understand how EM and SE don't see the opportunity to go overboard on DE franchise dev and produce games that everyone is talking about and hyping, similar to 2077. A huge selling point of this franchise is that the various people involved over the years (Spector, etc.) managed to "predict" (if you will) so much about how society is actually playing out. The plot elements that were incorporated into the franchise could have taken a number of turns, and, yet, they seem to so clearly mimic the elements of the game that I have to scratch my head sometimes. That could easily be highlighted in a reinvigoration effort of this franchise.

    When will SE wise up? They have a "presses money button" automatic winner on their hands if they will just stop being dumb and start making the right decisions. If they went so overboard that they produced a game that takes 50-100 hours to play due to content and has repeatability, more people would buy this game and they would make their money. I'll buy every single remaster - more money. SE, honestly, couldn't have made a worse series of decisions re: this (and other) franchises.

    Yes - we asked for this....

    Gib us (new) DE title to complete AJ story and tie-in to DE.

    Gib us remastered old DEs.

    Where to get Human Revolution digitally?

    So I have been looking for a non directors edition of human revolution, as the one on steam and GOG is a port of the WiiU version, and the only one I found was on GameStop, but when I ordered it, they cancelled the order. Anyone have a place where I can buy it?
