so just how deep does the secrecy run in versalife? when tong sends you to retrieve the dragons tooth schematics, you can find a man working at his desk claiming he falsifies their records and that's why he's coming down sick with the plague. at his desk is a datacube (presumably written by him" talking about a "deranged man dressed in street clothes who was found raving in the bathroom screaming about the doctors and what they had done to him downstairs". in the same datacube the man writes "but there is no downstairs". so what does that mean? is it that only some workers are allowed into level 2 and 3 and that some workers just plain don't know about the pacific rim research facility? was it a sneaky way of saying "we're not supposed to talk about downstairs"? this really boggles me because i just don't see how that would work, and even earlier in the same datacube he writes "i think something messed up is going on downstairs."

Deus Ex 1 - laggy

I tried playing deus ex 1 the other day, and I was doing the tutorial. Very laggy. I looked on the internet for a solution, and found this thing I had to install, an alternative launcher or something. When I installed it it didn't work however.

Are there any remakes of this game where it doesn't lag? Otherwise I guess I'll just never play it. Thanks.
