    I cleared the hotel with him but he got into a glitched state and started walking around the hotel then disappeared. No conversation in the lobby or anything.

    Do you think that Darrow's rooms are total white for some reason? I think it is a subtle hint to his 'black and white' thoughts about the augs but I may be wrong. Any ideas?

    STORY QUESTION re: MANKIND DIVIDED: Concerning Marchenko's Motives and Ideology. PLEASE HELP.

    I spoiler-tagged this whole post - in case it's not obvious, please be advised: spoilers for, specifically, Mankind Divided follow.

    So, I'm finishing up on my second-ever playthrough of this game (Mankind Divided) - I'm in London now. And I'm still confused about what Marchenko's motives and ideology are all along.

    ​

    To clarify, I have played the other major games in the series - Deus Ex, Invisible War, Human Revolution, and the DLC for both Human Revolution and Mankind Divided (all of its DLCs). I have not read any comics or played The Fall or Deus Ex: Go.

    ​

    So, I'm still confused about what exactly Marchenko's goal is and am hoping someone can enlighten me. You basically find out that he and his gold-masks are in cahoots with the Illuminati, which wants to sabotage Brown in order to ensure the Human Restoration Act passes.

    ​

    But Marchenko, on the few occasions you speak with him, seems to be militantly pro-Aug. All the e-mails etc. in ARC territory pretty much give the impression that he's leading the folks within ARC who disagree with Rucker's commitment to non-violence. He believes that augmented people can win back their rights and their safety if they stop pulling their punches and start using the full heft of their power. Makes sense that he would assassinate Rucker from that perspective.

    But why on Earth is he trying to use terrorism in order to screw over Brown, the Safe Harbor Initiative, and Rabi'ah? Why would he want the Human Restoration Act to pass? Why would he want augmented people to either be installed with control chips or deported to concentration camps?

    ​

    Let me know if I've missed something big here, but it seems like the story ultimately goes with the gold-masked mercs being part of some group under the thumb of the Illuminati, which clearly does want the Act to pass. But why the hell would Marchenko ever want the Act to pass?

    Deus Ex Mankind Divided moving off from Game Pass on Xbox

    Hi guys today while finding stuff on internet I found out that Mankind Divided will leave the Game Pass this month on Xbox, I've never played Human Revolution and I don't know anything about the story, I can play Mankind Divided anyways or not? Also I have 2 weeks to finish it, do you think I can finish both of them if I play them like 2/3 hours a day?

    Help

    So, I started a new game+ of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and am now trying to get the Foxiest of Hounds Achievement. In the first mission, I was spotted, but don't think I triggered any alarms, and got Ghost at the end of it. Should I have gotten Smooth Operator? I am not completely sure how the two work, and would appreciate any help.

    To think that the original Deus Ex should be given a remake. Look at the success of FF7 Remake for example. They could add a ton more stuff while keeping it the same.
