The rumour of a new Deus Ex is false according to Jason Schreir... Posted: 01 Feb 2020 12:33 AM PST "On ResetEra Schreier weighed in on that post by 0006, and said that he's making up all the info he claims to have leaked yesterday. Specifically, Schreier cited his comment that "98% of Avengers is done and thus Eidos Montreal had started working on the next Deus Ex"" Fckn Great! Well, my fault for jumping to conclusions and hoping... We believe what we want to believe.. Just felt the need to clarify since I was the one who posted it here. Guess we can go back into our pods and cry. [link] [comments]
(DX1) Hell's Kitchen 3 changes a man Posted: 31 Jan 2020 10:54 AM PST I posted earlier this week about trying to beat Deus Ex for the first time, having owned the game since about 2003. I've been playing pretty much as a reluctant but deadly baton/sword-wielding bad dude, killing mostly when necessary. Trying to avoid gratuitous violence. Welp, going to Hell's Kitchen the third time finally broke me. After you talk to Stanton Dowd and the MJ12 and UNATCO clowns come pouring out of the woodwork, I couldn't take it anymore. I switched on a bunch of the crazy augs I've been collecting and just started harvesting bodies in a frenzy of Dragon's Tooth Sword carnage. I didn't end up killing everybody but I'd be lying if I said I didn't kill a few more than I had to before jumping up the fire escape on the hotel. So there's my story. War changes a man. Today's the day JC embraced his role as bringer of death. [link] [comments]
Deus Ex Human Revolution Original - Question on version Posted: 31 Jan 2020 11:02 AM PST I have played the DC version a couple of times, but now want to try out the "original" version just to see how it compares for myself. I so far have found 2 options: - SE Store = Looks like the SE store sells a boxed copy for PC for $15. It says this includes the CD-ROM. So my question is, on a modern Windows 10 PC, am I installing this to my PC and running the game off the CD-Rom like I did way back in the day, or does it also have a Steam key to redeem in its place? Also how does patching work, or are there going to be no patches (before they changed it to DC) on this CD-Rom version? - G2A - Looks like for $7 G2A has a key called " Deus Ex Human Revolution Steam Key GLOBAL" . They have a separate version listed for the DC version, so I am assuming this is the "Original" version. I already own the DC version in my Steam account, so would I be able to add this to my steam account, or would Steam be like "You already own this" Since I am pretty sure they upgraded my original version to the DC version, but don't remember. If I cant have it co-live with my current steam account that has the DC version, if I create a new Steam Account and add it to that, will it get automatically converted to the DC version? Just trying to figure out best way to play the "Original" version. Please don't turn this into a DC vs Original battle thread. I have already played the DC a couple of times, and just want to see the difference for myself (good or bad). Thanks for any help. [link] [comments]
So have people here not tried VR? Posted: 31 Jan 2020 10:43 AM PST I recently posted a comment about hoping the next deus ex is in VR and was heavily downvoted. Super surprising, as I thought the near future cyber punk vibe of dues ex goes pretty well w the general idea of VR. How many people here own VR systems? [link] [comments] |
