| Posted: 25 Dec 2019 03:59 PM PST I just bought Director's Cut after buying original few years ago and getting stuck on first boss. I noticed that enemies I incapacitate sometimes die randomly, without any observable reason. Is there any mod that would fix it just a bit? I guess it makes sense that enemy thrown off the roof would die (although he probably might have survived, if he's augmented), but I find it ridiculous when enemy randomly dies after being stunned with stun-gun and falling to ground. There is also that bit, where you try to drag enemy, and he dies. I found people talking about this one part that happened to me also. In Detroit, the Cloak & Dagger mission, when you go into that apartment building. There are two bangers guarding the door, one leaves to go inside the apartment. I stun the remaining one, and boom, he's dead. There is no other way to incapacitate him, because he's got back on the wall and looking straight at you, but when shot with non-lethal ammunition, he just dies. I really don't want to make this game overly easy, but these things are just not realistic at all. I'd like to play non-lethal stealth, but also want to do all missions, which conflicts with this mission, because it doesn't seem like finishable non-lethaly. | Posted: 25 Dec 2019 03:59 AM PST What should I do? All my saves are gone and I think I reached quite far. Today it just randomly asks me to install the game again even though I never uninstalled it, then steam verified the files and I didn't need to download anything, but when I opened the game I cannot use my saves. I checked the files and all my saves are there, for some reason the game can't recognise/find the saves. I didn't use any mods. [link] [comments] |
