    You know how Mankind Divided has long ass loading screens? They're staged.

    You read that right. I couldn't stand waiting up to minutes on loading screens, so I took matters into my own hands.

    Originally I played MD on an SSD, and it could easily take a minute to load between hubs or longer.

    Then when I upgraded my PC to two M.2 SSD's in RAID0, speeds did not noticeably improve.

    I decided to install Mankind divided onto my RAM.

    I have 64GB of DDR4, and I allocated about 58GB for MD, leaving me about 6GB of usable RAM. I have four sticks of RAM operating at 3600 so that's pretty much as fast as it gets.

    And guess what happened when I launched the game and tried playing through the levels?

    Yeah.

    Long-ass loading screens. 40+ seconds on some.

    So it's impossible to have MD load faster. Either those loading screens are fake, or the Dawn Engine is so absolutely poorly optimized, that they have serious issues in how their code handles loading hubs. This is slightly dissapointing to say the least. I hope the devs work out the kinks in MD pt 2.

    When does the "true" story branch happen?

    So I'm playing the first Deus Ex and for reference, I'm at the part where I leave Paul's apartment after I escaped the UNATCO occupied base and Simons called me an expensive mistake.

    I heard that the game has 3 endings which are determined by a single choice you make at some point. When does this story branch happen?

    Mankind Divided Early Game help

    Finally playing my 2nd playthrough after a year or so. I need info on how to buy the praxis kits during first time in Prague. They are 10k a piece and I'm not sure if the vendors inventory changes on the 2nd time in town and I have to buy them before leaving to golem or not.

    Is it possible to get 20k credits on a fresh run aka not ng+ this early?

    Was JC Denton a villain techically?

    I mean he worked for UNATCO who are under MJ-12. Thing is he defected to the good side (NSF) when he found out the truth from Paul.

    Was he a villain who became Hero or Hero who was mislead from the start?
