Posted: 08 Aug 2021 10:31 PM PDT Mac is referenced several times in Area 51, both by other mechanics and datacubes. He's the only one who can repgrogram the blue machines, and he leaves a datacube about casual hacking the keypad to the coolant system. There are several dead mechanics scattered about in sector 3, but I'm not sure it's clear which one is Mac. He might be dead, since there's a cube from J Purvis that mentions waiting for Mac to get back before working on the reactors. And the cube with the explosives locker code is written by mac and found by a dead mechanic. Anyways, this is a pretty long post about a very very minor character, but any thoughts on mechanics in DX1 in general might be fun. Is he the one hanging out by the antimatter reactors at the end? Never seen second half od the game Posted: 08 Aug 2021 01:53 PM PDT Do we know something about it? Is there any clue about things supposed to happen after Marchenko fight? I've seen post about Rabi'ah concept art and I've wondered if we know antyhing about later parts of the game that was apparently scrapped. [link] [comments]

Posted: 08 Aug 2021 05:25 AM PDT Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this, but I thought it might be a bit specific for r/SteamPlay. Does anybody have experience playing Invisible War in Steam on Linux? I can play using Proton and it runs ok for the most part, but only the original 4:3 resolutions are available and the HUD is cut off at the top and bottom of the screen. I found the Visible Upgrade which looks like it might fix the problem, but the installer looks for the Invisible War registry key so I can't just install it using wine as I was able to do with GMDX. Yet the orotonDB entry for Invisible War includes at least one user who had it running perfectly with the Visible Upgrade. Does anybody have any experience with this they might be able to share? Thanks. [link] [comments]
What was the MJ12 Cover Story in Europe? Posted: 08 Aug 2021 01:16 AM PDT For some reason I've been pondering this but MJ12 operates as a full on military/militia force on the streets of Paris and presumably throughout the rest of the EU as its touched upon that the MJ12 have far more of a political stranglehold on Europe. Still... If some quasi military force just turned up on the streets of Paris I'm fairly certain questions would be asked as to who these people are by the population, local cops and actual French military. I may have missed it but was there ever a cover story given as to who they were? [link] [comments] |
