    having huge lag spikes on modern hardware

    trying to play deus ex GOTY edition and i am experiencing huge lag spikes. i have no idea why i would be having such problems, i have kenties launcher and i'm running on direct3d10 but my fps goes from 100 (where its capped even though i have set it higher) to 20s constantly on the first level of the game, i really want to try this game out but its not helping me here.

    I got the game because it can be played by BC and ordered the normal version and got the DC version, that it was great because it cost more and got it at the cheaper price. I'm playing it now an it kind of looks like shite. Does the game actually look that bad or is the DC that looks worse.
