    One has to love "A Criminal Past ". Spoilers bellow

    Let us start with the setting. A prison where Augs have their abilities limited with chips and lethal force. Truly a a microcosm of the world the Illuminati envisioned back in in Human Revolution.

    How about the characters? Most of the important ones are foils to Adam: a (dirty) cop, an agent (having lost his way) and a freedom fighter (doing it for the fame).

    Most importantly, Adam's dynamic with Delara. She's interrogating him. She may pretend otherwise, but she is the embodiment of the Illuminati's presence in his life at that point. And he's answering not one bit more than he absolutely has to in order to get back to his work.

    Something else I think is understated is how good the final couple of seconds are. Adam's last, personal, question. He all but directly tells Delara he knows what her role is. And that she's now the one with a sword hanging above her head. Beautiful. Especially her obviously panicked response: immediately calling her masters.

    Advice on fixing a nasty bug in GMDX version of Deus Ex?

    Getting a black screen/crash upon finishing the abandoned gas station and loading the sea lab mission, only known fix is either console commands or loading back to Vandenberg & hoping it won't break upon replaying.
    Thing is, dummy me only ever used quick saves and the "open" console command wipes out your character entirely - augmentations, notes, skills, equipment...
    "Legend" is supposed to bring up a secret menu that allows you to select the mission instead of loading straight in, but I can't get it to work with GMDX.
    I've also wondered if there might be a working save editor somewhere that could let me copypaste stuff from the broken save to the post-wipe one.

    How do I save Miller? I got the antidote earlier at the bank. I knocked out the "Tarvos" guards silently. I chose to save the delegates first and then I got to Marchenko with enough time to defeat him. But when I finished saving the delegates and left for Marchenko, I passed the kitchen and Miller was already dead. I didn't get an option to give the antidote when I was talking to him before given the final 2 missions. Did I miss something?

    An unfortunate save bug

    So I encountered a bug today that seems to have corrupted my save data to an extent. I noticed that my game saves were not saving about an hour after it started. I could not save in any slot, Auto-saves were not working, and I could not load my last manual save. I exited the game and opened it up again before I lost any more time to this bug. The last save occurred in the NSN mission, and when I got out of it, ALL my items in my inventory were gone.

    Another interesting thing that happened is that all my saves were overwritten to the same time slot and progress point, even an old save at the beginning of the game. Anyone else encounter this or know a fix? Doubt there is one at this point, but damn...

    I just finished A Criminal Past and now I'm a bit stuck. During the ending scene Adam says: "'gotta wonder what else he was right about" I don't quite know what Jensen is hinting at there, despite having read every mail and doing probably all of the optional stuff. English isn't my first language, so I might've missed something. Can somebody help explain?
