    What happened to Detective Chase?

    After completing Motherly Ties, Detective Chase disappears from the game. Because he clues Jensen into highly confidential information including a Coverup and meddling from very powerful people in the first Sarif industries attack, I have to wonder what became of him. Did he just go home or did something sinister happen to him?

    I'm in permadeath mode.

    It's been a while since I played though the game. So there is a lot I can't remember.

    ​

    As this is for the achievement I want to avoid death and take the easiest path

    ​

    Which of these missions is easier?. I remember the bank heist give you the antidote.

    ​

    And the other gave you the signal jammer. But I also remember you can find the signal jammer in a briefcase under a table on the last mission while still having the antidote.

    ​

    Which of those two missions is easier?

    ​

    Things like hidden explosives could end the play playthrough instantly. And obviously I need to make sure I get the signal jammer or whatever its called to make the final boss battle easy.

    ​

    So which is the easiest path with less hidden dangers?

    Failed launching URL
    Can't find LodMesh in file 'LodMesh HDTPItems.HDTPCombatKnifeLeft ...'

    I get above error after entering UNATCO headquarter for the first time after the first level. After the lobby it tries to load the area beneath and presents me this error. afterwards im softlocked and can only run onto a wall until it tries to load again (and fails)
    I restarted the safe completely without luck.

    Any clue on how to get past this? I can't update my game to a more recent version on this machine unfortunately.
