    Wow, just wow. I've had this game in my steam library for years and quarantine had me eyeballing it again. Just finished it; I sure missed out, this is by far one of the best video games I ever played. I'm in awe and wanted to share my excitement with this subreddit. The soundtrack, story, freedom in gameplay, it's perfect. Out of curiosity, which endings did you guys choose? Why did you choose it?

    Deus Ex and this new console generation

    I was quite saddened to discover it's not possible to play PS3 games on the PS5. I was ready to buy DX:HR DC ASAP (for the third...fourth time?) and realized this could be an opportunity to remaster that game for this new console generation.

    Eidos might be winding down work on Avengers so who knows? I'm conscious of pigeonholing a company but damn, I just wanna crawl through vents and discover secrets and lore and Eidos Montreal is like none other. CP2077 will provide a similar feeling shortly but uh, V doesn't sound as cool as Adam.

    Give us the second act of MD as well, that'd be sweet. If I had to choose which I'd rather want more...I honestly don't know. Yes.

    My personal favorite is "Hey, the guy in a coat!" line from DX1. I just can't imagine someone searching the area for a while and then saying: "Well, I probably just imagining things, so I better come back to doing nothing and not gonna tell anyone..." after seeing something that specific. Especially, when the protagonist looks like a guy who dressed up for an audition for the role in The Matrix. To be fair most of DX1 characters look like they came out straight out of Matrix, but I digress.

    I'm pretty sure there are lines that sound dumber, but for some reason, this one stuck in my brain and it still bugs me the most.

    Deus Ex GOTY - Game crashes during Ocean Lab loading screen

    After completing the mission and talking to Savage on the roof, the game always crashes during the loading screen after I get in the helicopter. Changing the renderer does nothing, I also tried restarting the mission and playing it again from scratch, but still nothing. Maybe someone had the same problem and they can help me ?

    What's going on with Square Enix and where their priorities lie?

    The only company I can think that's worse at wasting the potential of their IPs is Bethesda with the Fallout series, and that's a very low bar in any case.

    Why are they so insistent to breathe life into their Marvel game, rather than just cutting their losses and planning for a new, eventual Tomb Raider or Deus Ex game?

    Is Mankind Divided worth it?

    The game's on sale on the pstore and i'm won whether i should get this or tomb raider. Since this is a Deus Ex sub then I'm wondering what you guys think of this game.

    Any fix for very bad framerate in Mankind Divided?

    I decided to start Mankind Divided over because I never finished it, but I'm getting 30-50FPS in the first area. It's certainly playable, but considering I have a 3080 and a Ryzen 5800X and get a steady 140 FPS in newer games like Fallen Order, I can't help but think there's something wrong, or at least something I could be doing differently. My FPS is worse now than when I played it with a 2060 S.

    Edit: Fixed it by turning off MSAA--went from 40 FPS back up to 165. I didn't realize that was still fucking things after all this time. I'll leave this up in case someone else has this problem and is looking for a fix.

    How did they know

    Hi

    I just came out of the police station but to my surprise all the cops are shooting at me. I did knock out few cops in the station but never triggered alarm or anything like that. Is this situation fixable or do I need to do the station all over again?
