    This is a place to chill whenever you like, post feedback, ask questions that you don't think warrant a new thread, or just get that burning DX1 meme out of your system.     Running HDTP is great except for this one single bug whenever I have the pistol out.. Its just a flat image of hands? It doesnt move it just sits on the gun like an ornament.. Any ideas?

    Having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to get Kenties Deus Ex 1 mod to work.. I downloaded the file but there are exactly zero instructions online of how to get it up and running

    [dxmd] game is running smooth but experience some glitches (pc)

    played the game on the ps4 and enjoyed it so i got it on the pc. the game is running at a smooth 60fps at high-ish settings and the game is playable but i am experiencing some glitches like icons in menus don't pop up, dialogue won't pop up and i have to wait for it, fast travel loading screens play then freeze when the animation ends, (after the fast travel loading screen ends and i spawn) the game shows the fast travel icon (like if i was looking at the fast travel map in the previous subway) and it shows the previous subway map. i have to wait for it to fix itself. the map itself has some problems like freezing or just being wrong (ex: going from the surface to sewers, game still shows surface map). cutscenes that require spacebar to skip load forever and i am basically forced to watch it all. loading itself takes quite awhile. i think that's all, but it's pretty annoying.

    played other games with higher graphic settings and they worked fine. changed the deus ex graphics to medium preset and played a bit. problem was still there but it was fixed a tiny bit.

    is there some way to fix all these problems or will i have to be on low graphic settings, not that i mind too much but i would PREFER for the game to look pretty good.

    is it possible to get the helipad storage code after Milwaukee Junction?

    I know I can just look up the code, but I've never been able to do it in-game only. I can't seem to find a code to Tim Carella's office. Am I missing it, does it open up later, or can I only get in there by hacking??

    Need tips and tricks

    Hello everyone, I played until the first boss fight 5 years prior on my xbox but I got bored since I was young and did not appreciate games like this enough. I want to revisit it and this time and intend to finish it but needed some advice on inventory management, approach to use, stealth tips, hacking tips, weapons and ammo and upgrades.

    Best way to play the original game in 2020?

    I just realized I own Deus Ex on Steam from many many years ago amd just started playing it last night. Amazing game, can't believe i never tried it before. Anyway, I noticed im not the only one who complained about it being too dark, not well lit enough. Is there a mod you guys can collectively suggest as the very best way to play this game with everything that is available today? I dont want to change the bare bones or basic experience i just wouldnt mind being able to see where im going and whatnot...

    The game is really dark and if theres any mod that encompasses all the quality of life improvements to date I would love to know about it. Thanks.
