    I wanted a new Deus Ex game. And so I bought Cyberpunk 2077. Now I'm disappointed it's not a Deus Ex game. I blame myself. (Source for the pic in the comments)

    Does he actually have a mind of his own or did merging with Helios pretty much erase him as a person?

    I'm pretty sure it's popular headcanon that as far as the original JC goes, he was erased when merging with Helios, yeah?

    And thus Cyberpunk turned out to be a shallow disappointment lacking basic AI and systems, the next Deus Ex can't come soon enough.

    Deus Ex was Amazing because it understood its own limitations and capitalized it to create an incredibly captivating experience. It never got the hype it deserved, immersive sims are not niche, if Square was competent they would've made the game a hit, but they hate western studios so we get a niche game with niche marketing that didn't sell.

    Cyberpunk already got back all its funds from 8 fckn million pre-orders and day 1/2 sales. gg. This with no traffic AI, no AI path-finding for pedestrians, no enemy reactions, just a shallow shell of something with nothing in it. Deceptive marketing as well.

    I'm just sad and disappointed that while that game will go on to be lauded as a success with possible sequels. The true Cyberpunk dystopian game that cares about it's themes and mechanics will be forever a niche.

    Hey everyone, so I know that there's some excellent ways to play through the original Deus Ex on PC like revision or GMDX but hear me out, has anyone come across a mod that's tried to replicate some of the textures and level designs of the PS2 version of the original? I'd be really interested considering that was how I originally experienced the game. I know I should probably just try to get a copy of the PS2 version but they're extremely over priced and as far as an emulator goes I genuinely do not have the hardware for that.

    How feasible is playing non-lethal in DX-MD without knocking anyone out?

    Im looking to play it for the first time, and tried to google info about that but all I get is people talking about no-kills, which is obvious. From my memories of HR, it seemed like the game would practically force you to knock some people out to progress, wondering how practical it is here. Thanks.

    Do you recommend Mankind Divided with the season pass on PS4?

    Since i've been quite disappointed with Cyberpunk, my interest has peaked on this game, its less than 7 dollars on the PS store. I've never played any other Deus Ex, but i have played and loved some immersive sims like Prey, Dishonored and System shock. Is this one any good? What about the level design and multiple paths to objectives? What about the gameplay itself?
