    Is there any mod that combines some of the gameplay changes of GMDX but keeps everything mostly vanilla?

    Hey y'all, I've been on a massive Deus Ex kick because of Cyberpunk 2077 and this time I'm playing DX1 vanilla. However I've had a hard time adjusting to the original crossbow tranquilizer usage. I got the hit box down for non lethal baton hits but aside from that I feel like I'm struggling. Is there any mod that changes the crossbow to function like it does in GMDX but keeps everything like skills and augs to their original vanilla state?

    Is Detective Karl Montag a reference to Guy Montag from Fahrenheit 451?

    I'm asking because I just started reading the book. Maybe this has come up before, I do not know. A quick Google search and the fandom wiki page for Detective Montag gave me nothing.

    Might not be too far-fetched since the games also stay faithful to the classic 0451 code reference. Montag simply is Monday in german but I have never come across it as a surname outside Deus Ex and Fahrenheit 451. So at least it is not common as a name.

    Also, I am really enjoying the book, really a timeless classic of future dystopia.

    Mankind divided praxis exploit

    I know you guys Will feel the urge to kill me but I gotta Ask:do you know of any praxis/exp glitch in MD? I already beat the game once, and doing a new unleash-hell-kind-of-playtrough but Need those sweet sweet augs, I already know of a glitch in the sewers which consists of some drone shooting at the Wall but for some reason It stopped working for me(probably because I went ahead and now im in second return to Praga) now if I try to do that exploit It Will make hostile all the Police and drones on the outside. Anyone know of any exploit or Easy way to get praxis?

    Mission numbers for these quotes?

    Could anyone tell me in which of the 15 missions JC says the following quotes? The name of the mission will suffice. Im scouring the audio files to make a good realistic soundboard. This would narrow it down from >8k files.

    MD Foxiest of Hounds Achievement Question

    Can I kill the hover drones and still get the achievement? I saw some people getting harassed by them in the sewers and was wondering if I can take them out while keeping the achievement.

    I can't change FOV in Deus Ex 1 when using Kentie's Launcher and DrectX 10, help?

    In the "configure" menu of Deus Exe, no matter what I do, the FOV value always stays at 91, I can't even set it to 'automatic' or 'default', it's just at 'custom' with the value 91

    Changing FOV values in User.ini does nothing and when I set FOV manually in the console with 'FOV 110' it gives me that desired FOV for like a frame and then it quickly switches back to 91

    Can't set it lower, can't set it to 110 like I want

    I dunno what to do
