Biometric Security Scan Bug

Hello,

I am playing through DX:HR for the first time and I need to get past the biometric scan at detention camp 5 (I'm at mission 'M2 - In the Belly of the Beast') but when I press the 'initiate scan' button nothing happens. Is this a bug and how do I solve this?

I need help with the download on steam

So I bought the game on steam and when it got to 100% download it would just stop and say "resume", so when I pressed that the finalizing bar goes up, but then when it reaches the end, it just goes back to the "resume" button. I've tried clearing the download cache and tried uninstalling and reinstalling, yet nothing appears to be working. I would really appreciate some help.
