    So this game has been sitting on my shelf for years collecting dust. I finished Mankind Divided awhile back and wanted to play the rest of the sequels in reverse-chronological order, but never got around to it. I guess life always got in the way. This quarantine seemed like the perfect time to cross some of these games off my wishlist. Being a 9-year-old game, I had relatively low expectations going in, but boy was I wrong! This game has certainly aged well. It still looks amazing! Hats off to the guys over at Eidos-Montréal - you guys did an excellent job with this game! I'm proud to own it!

    How to stop alarm phase?

    Huge MGS fan playing my first DX game, Mankind Divided. Question: once I'm spotted how do I get out of the alarm/search stage. In the MGS games, you hide until the enemies stop looking and return to their posts/routes. I was spotted in DX and have been waiting, unseen, in a air vent for like 20 minutes and still every enemy is searching for me. How do I end this?

    Just got pacifist on my first run of the game, it was beautiful

    To quench my thirst for cyberpunk, i remembered that ps plus gave me this game some time ago. I missed a few side quests apparantly, but still finished the rest in the best way possible. I even got the best ending ( i think) and apparently i didn't event kill anyone. Beautiful game, would raccomend

    Lag and brightness problems

    So I've recently bought deus ex GOTY on steam and encounter several problems. The framerate goes to shit occasionally (when I'm swimming it's at 10 or less fps) and it sometimes lags. The game is also very, very dark. I couldn't see anything at all in the tutorial. I needed the flashlight to be able to traverse the regular rooms before I even had to use tje flashlight in the dark room. It isn't much better in the normal game either. And I have brightness at max!

    What's the deal? I really wanna play this game

    Creative playstyles

    Last iteration of Deus Ex gives big freedom when it comes to playstyles. There are three most known: stealth, combat and mixed. I'd like to ask you about more creative ones. I've tried for example grenade only run and it was tricky but rewarding. So what are yours non-standard playstyles? Maybe different challenges?

    Deus Ex HR DLC

    Hello, I bought Human Revolution on Steam way back when it was released but never got around to playing it, until yesterday; I got a few hours in and I'm really enjoying it.

    Then I found out that there's a Director's Cut with pros and cons, and as far as I'm concerned I'm quite happy with the original version, except for one thing:

    Can I get The Missing Link for the original version nowadays since steam only has the DC version for sale? Or is it automatically downloaded and it will simply unlock once I beat it? (I doubt it but idk).

    Also I wouldn't mind the other 2 dlc but I believe they were pre-order/store-specific exclusives so I assume it isn't possible whitout buying the DC.

    Update:

    I found out GreenManGaming sells the TML key for Steam. While I have read that it's a somewhat reputable key reseller, it is still a key reseller, so no guarantees.

    If I ever buy it I'll post an update as to whether it'll have worked out for me. 🧐

    Is this a save bug?

    I am just picked up deus ex on steam and am playing it for the first time, and on the first level, whenever I save and attempt to load, it shows the picture of where I saved, but when I load it, It puts me back in the beginning of the level. Is this normal? If not, is there any way to fix it? Thanks for reading through.
