Deus Ex Jesus, I need help |
Posted: 11 Nov 2020 02:36 PM PST This game is so damn hard. I forget to save. I die immediately. Go back to the first cutscene. I love the game, but easy mode is too hard for me. Any advice? [link] [comments] |
What are your favourite DX levels? Posted: 11 Nov 2020 04:26 AM PST Tell us what your favourite levels are from any DX game. I'll go with DX1: Best: Hong Kong. This level is just a masterpiece in game design, from start to finish. The tense MJ12 helibase opening gives way to the sprawling Wan Chai markets. There are secrets galore, shady corners to explore, the contrast between traditional triads and super-high-tech Versalife makes for a great backdrop. And the music. Honourable mention: Brooklyn Naval Shipyards. Perhaps a controversial choice, but there's something about this level that I just love. It's atmospheric and mostly leaves you to your devices; get on the ship and blow it up. Worst: Paris Never liked this level. Too dark and dingy and Paris itself is a pain to navigate with MJ12 everywhere. I think it drags on for too long, commandoes are a pain to deal with and, compared to Hong Kong that came before, it's just lacking in character and charm. Dishonourable mention: Missile silo. Boring, filler mission that just makes you run from A to B and fight endless goons along the way. Can really tell the designers were running out of time by this point. [link] [comments] |
