    DX HRDC gog version debug console help!

    Hi everyone,

    My partner has been going on and on about how amazing DX HR is and I finally decided to give it a try (No judgement! I was away from gaming world for a few years due to studies and have missed some awesome games that came out during that period); however, I have this particular trait that I want to have access to the console. I've tried the mods I found and gog gives an error that the gibbed version is not compatible with the game version (gibbed version is 2.2 and my game version is 2.0 but I have tried other older versions of the mod that I could find none of them worked). Moreover the user.ini file comes up as gibberish when I open it so there goes all the methods that require changing this file (unless there is a way to make it ungibberish? I have tried opening it using different platforms, nah no good!)

    And finally there is a solution that is listed as adding a code to the executable! now this one I have never done before and I couldn't find a comprehensive step by step guide to what executable are and how to add this code (and more importantly how does this unlock the console??!)

    Any help to resolve my issue is much appreciated. I have listed the resources that I have used to far below:

    [Deus Ex] Missed Paul's Conversation at Hell's Kitchen

    Hi people, I'm playing the first Deus Ex for the first time. What a game it is! I'm using GMDXv10.

    Now I'm at Hong Kong Market, just beyond the Helipad. In the primary objective, I always have the "Report to Paul at Hell's Kitchen". I started to see a way to cheat it out of my list, as, well I am a little far from NYC now, and I think this is a bug now.

    Just to try, I saw the flags in the legend menu, and I seem to miss the flag of that convo. I loaded the map, and the first time I was in the underground, Paul greeted me, gave me his key (now I understand why at the 'Ton I cannot enter by the front door in Paul's apartment!) and striked out that goal. But I fear that I may corrupt my save, and worst, a "cheater" is in the screen shot.

    There is a way to mantain the save clean, and strikeout that goal? Thank you :D
