Deus Ex GOTY. Weird bot / hacked turret interaction Posted: 14 Aug 2020 06:13 PM PDT I'm having another run through my old fave Deus Ex 1. (GOTY Edition, via Steam. 'Realistic' mode) I'm seeing what seems to be a weird interaction / bug, and wanted to check if this is a known this or whether I'm doing something wrong. So I've on Liberty Island, at the main entrance with the bot. I log into the security computer (either with the known credentials or with ICE hack) and leave the cameras on, but switch the turret targets. I go hide for a moment until the patrolling bot gets into range, but then as soon as the turret starts up to shoort the bot, the bot seems to immediately magically know where I am and turn to attack me, despite me being way outside it's "vision arc" and also much further away that I would expect the bot to notice me anyway. Is that a Thing(TM)? Is there anyway to avoid it happening? [link] [comments]

Posted: 14 Aug 2020 02:03 AM PDT Hello everyone. I'm having a problem with the game, and I would like to know if anyone can help me. So, I'm having a problem with the HUD. I'm playing in 1024x768 and with Kantie installed. However, if I choose the scale on x1, the text gets way too small, but if I choose x2, some HUDs gets offscreen (like the player creation one). Is there anything that I can do to make the HUD with 1.5x or something like that? [link] [comments]

Back to Hell's kitchen question Posted: 14 Aug 2020 12:41 AM PDT So I killed Anna in 747 and now I'm back to hell's kitchen to meet my brother again. Now I need to send the distress signal to NSF. I was wondering, once you send the distress signal, is there any possibility to join majestic 12/ illuminati/w/e group? I tried killing paul with a GEP and he could take several GEP gun shots like wtf. I thought everyone would die with one shot to GEP gun. Its really hard to kill paul. Hes fucking tank jeezus. Anyways, I thought maybe by killing Paul I could try joining Majestic 12's inner circle. Honestly in my current playthrough I'm going to choose NSF's side, but i want to see all the pathways I could choose. [link] [comments]
Any suggestions for someone playing Mankind Divided for the first time? Posted: 14 Aug 2020 12:26 AM PDT I've played all the other games and loved them, heard mixed things about Mankind Divided when it was released so never got round to playing. But I just bought a 34in Ultrawide beast and decided to return to Deus Ex to give it a test run! I tend to play stealthy / long distance / non-lethal, but I'm curious to know if the game balance favours any particular gameplay style? Also no spoilers please! I don't know the story so want to go in with a blank slate. Thanks/ [link] [comments] |
