Want to play Deus Ex (Orignal) for the first time. Questions about specific MODS. Posted: 25 Jul 2020 08:27 AM PDT So I read in the FAQ this: Also keep in mind I have literally 0 experience with this series and I want to experience it. I was planning on reading the "Deus Ex Continuity Bible" and then starting with Human Revolution, but I thought I'll give the original a shot, because if I start HR it will be near impossible for me to go back so far and play the original. Thanks :) [link] [comments]
Posted: 25 Jul 2020 12:05 PM PDT Hey, I'm kinda new so go soft on me, so few months ago I bought the whole series and I finished HR and it was the RPGI was waiting since Mass Effect series, it was great! Had kinda everything I wanted it. Expect for the (Personally) disappointing ending, which is worse than ME3's ending, it was heaven for me, so I was about the play MD but my RAM needed upgrading (which I'm gonna upgrade in few months) so I stepped back, and downloaded the original and it was... outdated. Half-life-esque screen and weird models, I stopped it before and hour. It was just... Too outdated for me. So I'm asking everybody, should I play it? Don't come up with justifying answers, be real with me, I know the latest games are sequels and I know I won't get spoilers but should I play it? Will it be like a pain in the ass like Witcher 1? "Man play it story is great" Damn everything else was just plain garbage! If it will be a W1 experience 'it'll be a pain but it'll worth it' oh lord no please! Just help me out guys I wanna know and I don't wanna waste time! I trust you guys love ya! XOXO [link] [comments]
Posted: 25 Jul 2020 06:45 PM PDT Hey there! I'm hoping to find some help as I've googled this problem several times, with no answer. Basically, I'm an Xbox player. Had an original Xbox one since release, though I've traded out consoles a couple of times. Long story short: I own Deus Ex: MD, and I played it for a bit back when I first bought it. Fast forward a few years to me randomly booting up the game, and for some reason, I can't get the game to start on my console anymore. I can get to the main menu, select new game, It will play the opening cinematic, but I'll get stuck in an endless loading screen and it never actually boots me into the mission. So far I have: • hard reset console • tried the game on a series S console (it worked, though this doesn't explain why I could play it years ago when it released.) • deleted my save data cache • uninstalled & reinstalled the game I'm at a loss, unfortunately, it seems for now I won't be enjoying any cyberpunk type adventure until 2077 [link] [comments]
Question/feedback about The Missing Link (Possible Spoiler?) Posted: 25 Jul 2020 10:08 AM PDT So I've played through the Director's cut multiple times now and every time I go through the detention camp to go to the interrogation wing I am always under suspicion by turrets on the 3rd floor. Was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there is a way to fix it. (Tried to be as vague as possible but with the most detail I can give 😅) [link] [comments]
