Does anyone else see the rise of monopolies and corporate power in the US and it's acceleration after the bailout bill as a direct lead in to the type of society seen in deusex? A very clear physical delineation between rich and poor, a move towards feudal corporate states and continuing poverty for most people?

I have tried GMDX, Revision and even Shifter, but I still can't find a mod that fixes annoyances without altering the game, like, can Ford Schick give me that augmentation canister without there being op weapons and weird perk systems? Is there a mod that only fixes the Ford Shick bug?

Anyone who played and liked the first deus ex, do you feel like square enix and eidos Montreal ruined the series?

The first one was so gritty in character, the gameplay was fun and it's one of my favorites.

I was deeply disappointed in Human Revolution, the overly dramatic anime faced protagonist, the weird renaissance/hexagon fashion, the clearly Canadian voice acting even though most of the game was set in the US, the convoluted uninteresting story and cutscenes, the mediocre gameplay, and of course the pretentious, ugly urinary color scheme. It traded grit and interesting gameplay for watered down drama and faux style, as to be expected from Square Enix I guess.

Anybody else feel this way?

Anyone else get this glitch?

In the original deus ex I've consistently had this glitch where some female characters are missing half their hair texture. Their heads have giant holes in them as a result. I can't find anything online about this

I'm new to this game and want to give it a try... I thought I could get some opinions about it... Does this game have any good storyline or not? And what is the best thing about it(gameplay mechanics, story, atmosphere, graphics,... Etc. )?Should I start the series from the very first game Deus Ex 1 (which looks outdated in 2020) or not?
