So I'm playing the console (PS2) version of DX1 for the first time. Posted: 26 Mar 2020 07:37 PM PDT I'm already a little more than halfway through (superfreighter section) and I'm actually digging it so far myself. Sure the constant loading screens are annoying but since I'm playing it off of a PS2 internal HDD it loads really quick. (Even though there is a bug where it softlocks after 6 or 7 loading screens requiring a reboot.) Since I played the original PC version countless times it's been interesting comparing the redesigned level sections to the original. Also not having to go to medbot to install augs is convienent. Overall it's nice to be able to lean back, relax, and play this with a controller. What are you guys' thoughts on the console port? [link] [comments]

Streaming A Playthrough Tonight (No Big, but Wanted to Share) Posted: 26 Mar 2020 06:02 PM PDT Hi, guys. I think Deus Ex is an extremely timely title in today's pandemic times. I've really been enjoying the story of the original, and think some of the commentary has really made me think about the priorities of the country right now. This game seems to be prophetic, in many ways. Just wanted to share a link, in case you want to see what the original runs like an a modern build. Let me know what you think, and it's been literally 15 years since I've played it so I may be a bit of a n00b... help me out!! Thanks, fans of this truly awesome series! [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 Mar 2020 01:14 AM PDT Tried to get all the achievements in DXHR a year ago on Steam and finished with a pacifist run through the game where I also thought I would get "the foxiest of hounds" achievement as well... it didnt unlock. I read up and apparently there is a glitch where your quick save and quick loads bug out and you have to re-load through a specific way, but most of the forums I read gave vague advice. I'm going to give it another shot so I can finally have it 100% complete. Any tips or input regarding this achievement in particular? [link] [comments] |
