Any chance we’ll get a new installment for next gen? Posted: 28 Jan 2020 05:04 PM PST Love the franchise and became a fan with reboot and would love to know if there's any chance. Ik it didn't sell well but damn there's so much to this game. [link] [comments]

Posted: 28 Jan 2020 12:13 PM PST Something interesting is that probably due to developmental costs the game was scaled back slightly. However, the game seems like it was originally designed where it could be played non-linearly at least after you defect from UNATCO. For example, you could visit France, New York (post-defection) and Hong Kong at will. California and Area 51, probably not, they'd be linear, tied into the end-game. Though I've been inside the editor and it seems quite easy to do, I haven't had the time to modify things. Compare BioShock, where it is sort of a open-world game -- you can travel across levels except for a few, though there's really no point except for completionism. Deus Ex however, is a world with interactions and more things to do. Come to think of it, there is a multiplayer 'role-playing' map. Something of interest might be Jock's apartment underneath Maggie Chow's penthouse. [link] [comments]

Deus Ex, Breach (tm): NOT RECOMMENDED Posted: 28 Jan 2020 02:53 AM PST Stupidest newbie island ever. There is no functionality. The place is a wreck. Fun themes, and the files are massive. What is this, the Christian dark ages? It might as well belong where any game like this belongs: nowhere. [link] [comments] |
