    Just as the title/question states Im new to the Deus Ex series and was wondering if it was okay to start with "Mankind Divided" or do they have to be played in a specific order?

    What media would you recommend to someone that loves Deus Ex for it's various themes spread throughout the entire series?

    Like many people here I fell in love with this series not just because of it's amazing gameplay, but also because of all the cyberpunk themes present in the games, from Transhumanism to Ancient Conspiracies.

    What I should watch\read\play if I want more of those same themes? The more obscure and niche the better! I'm already aware of Cyberpunk Classics like Neuromancer.

    Final visit to Hell's Kitchen music bug

    I've always played the GOTY version and there is this well-known bug on third visit to Hell's Kitchen (after Hong Kong) where the outdoors music is missing. And I think it's brilliant. Right after vibrant and noisy Hong Kong, it feels so eerie when all you can hear is the soldiers' footsteps and bullets hitting the walls. I've since played Revision which restores the music (NYC Streets 2) and it felt so wrong to me. Yes, it's upbeat and triumphant, but the absolute silence in GOTY underlines the hopelessness of the game world so well. It's martial law after all. It's my personal canon. Of course, it's because my first contact with DX was GOTY. What's your opinion on this? Have you ever tried playing the whole game with the music turned off?

    Well, Finally I've gotten around modding in DX:MD.I currently have 3 ideas, which mod would you like to see? Note :- 1- Replacing P.E.P.S with Hyperion will only change the color of "Plasma" and it's kind "Non-Lethal to Lethal". 2- Restoring Old HUD will only change the player's HUD, Not the menu. 3- Improving Remote Hacking will grant the player the ability to hack Computers, Safe Codes and Alarm Panels. (That was a concept) 4- I'm gonna publish the details about modding the game as soon as I finish at least one mod.

    Regarding TNM (Deus Ex GOTY mod): bot gatling gun causes game stuttering.

    Anyone know the reason for this? I do not believe this occurs in the classic campaign, but then again I never do reckless tactics in that one (unless i'm doing shifter playthrough, in which case I kill every bot with DTS for max skill points(and no, it does not stutter in classic)). Speaking of Shifter, I mixed it with TNM and now I have this issue of absurd game stuttering while getting blasted by machinegun fire, this makes it impossible to use my retarded tactic of superspeed-circling the bots while attacking them with DTS(they have limited turn speed).

    Hey guys im new here and i recently just started using the gmdx rsd mod but i cant get pass this point in the game where im supposed to meet everett. I tried restarting the game, going back to a previous save point, even reinstalling the mod and the game. I'm clearly braindead so could someone help.

    Hello so i was thinking about playing IW giving it a shot so i got it and downloaded it and the game crashes on loading screen
    I cant even make it work on a single core because it crashes the game
