    Any music mods for Deus Ex 1?

    So last year, Alexander Brandon remastered the iconic soundtrack to the Action RPG-cum-Immersive Sim game Deus Ex. However, there's literally no mods for music like the remastered soundtrack. The only one I can name is a port of the PS2 version of the theme song that doesn't loop.

    I find this really questionable. I love the soundtrack to DX1, and hearing the remastered versions of these iconic songs will add to the timeless feeling of the game. Is anyone willing to start music modding for DX1 and make it more popular?

    Purchased the first Deus ex. got a few question

    I've known about deus ex for a while now, but mostly just surface stuff, memes, and the malkavian mod. I recently purchase the first deus ex off of steam, seeing as how it's like less that 1 USD. I've just got a few questions

    • are there any modding tools or anything i need to know about? or is it simply just dragging and dropping files into a dedicated mods folder?
    • building onto the last, is there a "general bugfix" mod or some type of mod like it? Or are there any general mods you'd deem necessary for newbies to install?
    • how long is the game on average? I tend to do side quests in games, but would still like to know.
    • and what type of RPG is this? like, is it loot focused or is it stat focused or what?

    Is it possible we will get a new Deus Ex announcement at this year's E3?

    Note that I'm not asking whether is it likely, I'm asking if it's possible. And I actually think it is. After the massive failure of the Avengers game and the massive hype for Cyberpunk 2077 (which didn't deliver so there might be even more people craving for something similar), there is no better time to announce a new Deus Ex game.

    Game-breaking glitch in the Picus sub-basement

    I have no idea what's causing this, but I'm playing a genocide run of Human Revolution, and before I left Picus, I went back up the funicular to kill two enemies I realized I'd missed and grab a weapon modification. When I came back to Malik to leave, I can tell her I want to leave, she says her usual dialogue about leaving, and I receive the completionist bonus (the first time). However, the game doesn't actually take me to Detroit; I'm just left as though I'd said 'No'. Even exiting the game and reloading doesn't work; the game seems to be stuck in a completely broken state where you're stuck at Picus forever.

    I have a save at the Convention Center from a past run (as well as one where I didn't travel back up the funicular), so it's not the end of the world for me, but I'd be interested to know what specifically causes the glitch, if anyone else has experienced it, and/or how to fix it, especially so I can add it to the Wikia if need be.
