I finally got around to playing A Criminal Past and man I'm hurting all over again

    Posted: 29 May 2021 11:01 PM PDT

I've had Mankind Divided since it came out and played the main game to completion twice along with maybe 4 5ths breach mode (before I got tired of the wack balance) but for some reason I've never just sat down and knocked out Criminal Past... until today. It was so nice playing a chunk of Deus Ex I'd never seen before and now that it's over I'm just empty again. It's easily the best DLC mission they've ever done, I always felt like Missing Link messed with the pacing too much and felt out of place, but Criminal Past fits with the timelines so well and you get that juicy little exchange with Delara at the end that just teases you with whatever they were planning next. I need my boy Jensen back

Should I play Mankind Divided and Human revolution?

    Posted: 29 May 2021 03:21 AM PDT

I am a huge fan of the first game, going so far as to call it my favorite game. However, I've been putting off the other games because I feel like the originals charm is lost. But after watching some gameplay, they both look really cool. Should I play them?

Should I play the first deus ex with the mod "revision" for my first playthrough?

    Posted: 29 May 2021 08:29 AM PDT

I'm gonna buy deus ex goty edition on steam soon. I already played de: hr, I have played a few old game and I know what I'm getting into. I was just wondering if it was worth it to use the mod revision for my first playthrough. Does it just improve the original game where needed or tries to "fix" parts that don't need fixing? I'd like to know what the consuses is on this (on whether it should or shouldn't be used for first playthrough): I don't have the time to play the game twice and make up my own mind, so I'll probably just trust the the most popular opinion, if there is one.

    Infinite exp?

    Posted: 29 May 2021 06:45 PM PDT

Ik about the computer one, but I think I found another one. If you knock out a friendly harvester (in my case) and don't get caught, the others can wake him up, enabling you to knock them out agian. Am I wrong? If is this an infinite exp glitch?

Out of all the Deus Ex games, which ending did you enjoy the most?

    Posted: 29 May 2021 12:52 AM PDT

Sure, Human Revolution's ending kinda did the small-scale Mass Effect move, but I really enjoyed it as philosophical debate. Though I also didn't mind ME's ending, but that's me. After replaying Mankind Divided For the first time, and now doing all the things I missed (vaults etc.), I think it really complements the original game nicely. I also gotta say that the ending holds up better than when I played it first. I absolutely love the setting of the party, never mind the boring boss battle. The five minutes of Eliza were a bit too much though, sadly.

BUT: playing A Criminal Past for the first time, it all seems much more round and even like a somewhat satisfying goodbye to Jensen (even though I'll never completely settle :<). The DLC was amazing and will now always be essential to me when replaying the series.

When it comes to round endings, perfectly aligned to the storyline of a whole game, I gotta give it to Deus Ex, for sure.

I have never played Infinity War, though, but with all the harsh criticisms, never heard anyone criticize its ending. Is it a worthy goodbye to the world/timeline in spite of it's seemingly repetitive gameplay? I want to play it soon, but I'm not sure if I want my girlfriend to watch as it's her first Deus Ex rodeo.

No rendering options in kenties launcher

    Posted: 29 May 2021 11:34 AM PDT

When I start the game through kenties launcher there are no rendering options, making the game unplayable.I have reinstalled the game and all the kenties launcher files and the problem is still not fixed. There was also a weird bug where it said on steam that the game was still on whilst i had close it off.

Is this a problem with the game or steam?

Is there a stats mod or something like that?

    Posted: 29 May 2021 04:26 AM PDT

Just like in Dishonored after run'n'gun playthrough I plan to do a stealth non lethal playthrough. But I'm Dishonored I was able to view stats at any time and see if my playthrough is not ruined by an accidental kill or an accidental alarm set off
