    This is a place to chill whenever you like, post feedback, ask questions that you don't think warrant a new thread, or just get that burning DX1 meme out of your system. It is okay to go off-topic, however other rules still apply - please be nice to the other users and use a spoiler tag if needed.

    Who Else “Remembers” Deus Ex With Better Graphics Than It Has?

    I remember going back and playing Deus Ex for the first time in over a decade and was surprised at how clunky the graphics are... I honestly thought I had messed up the installation for a while and was trying to improve them.

    That's the strange thing about remembering old games... your memory upgrades the graphics for your favourite old games so when you go back and replay them it's kind of jarring.

    Or is it just me?

    (A Criminal Past) Should I stealth through the second part of the story?

    I'm referring to the point where the Prison Riot starts. Is there a point in sneaking around? HUD is constantly showing "Alarm" or "Searching" anyway and the guards are all over the place. So is there a reason I shouldn't engage them?

    I'm trying to install the Deus Ex SDK on my computer. I'm stuck at the step where it says that there has to be an installation of Deus Ex on my computer. I put a copy of Deus Ex to C:/Deus Ex. It still says that I need to install Deus Ex. If I can't go forward, how can I bypass this step?
