Posted: 23 Sep 2020 10:25 PM PDT We all remember the Belltower teams attacking Sarif Industries and kidnapping Megan and some of her associates, but I don't think that's what really happened. When we catch up with Megan at the Illuminati compound, she's doing very well. She's not as afraid as the other Sarif captives, she has super nice living quarters, and she's on a first-name basis with her captor. I think the Illuminati made a deal with her long before the Sarif Industries attack. They offered her the chance to work on the forefront of science, and she accepted. But why not just quit Sarif and leave Detroit? A few reasons. First, her work was top-secret. She wouldn't be able to just tell friends or family she got a new job, she'd have to disappear. And if she did that, then Adam and the Detroit PD would look for her. But with a high-profile kidnapping, that's not a local police issue. That's a federal issue, one the Illuminati can keep in limbo as long as they want to. The other reason is that Megan needed her team with her to do her work properly, but she knew they would never accept the Illuminati's offer. If they disappeared after Megan left, that would once again be a Sarif Industries/local police issue. I think when Jensen came to rescue Megan, she was blindsided and just played the "scared hostage" role. And when Jensen stopped Darrow, she just went to San Francisco and kept doing what she had been doing. [link] [comments] | ||

When I cap FPS to my monitor refresh rate the game almost freezes trying to open the pause menu. I turned off the cap in the Kentie config and instead used NVIDIA Control Panel to set the cap to 60fps, now the menus are fixed but JC walks at hyperspeed. Is there a way I can have neither of these problems instead of one or the other? [link] [comments] | ||

I'm starting new and wanted to know of the firefight at the end of the prolouge mission counts towards the foxiest of hounds achievement.
