| What is it about the Deux Ex games that sets them apart? Posted: 05 Jul 2020 11:24 PM PDT I have enjoyed many stealth and action franchises over the years; Half-Life, Fallout, Hitman, Metal Gear Solid, Mass Effect, Splinter Cell, Assassins Creed, Dishonored, etc. As great as the games in those franchises can be nothing has quite scratched the itch like the Deus Ex titles. I always seem to come back to them. There are many reasons why I love these games but overall I'd have to say it's the overall vibe created by the amazing music and attention to detail. | Do You Want A Remake Or A New Game? Posted: 05 Jul 2020 06:12 PM PDT Like the title says would you like a remake of the original Deys Ex or an entirely new game? At this point I feel like Adam Jensons story has run dry. The end of MK was very interesting, but not interesting enough to wait more than 5 years for a conclusion. I would rather have a new character storyline. The original was great, but I'm just imagining what they could do with today's technology. Honestly if they remade the original then I would not want a copy. Leave the classic as it is. Instead I would want a lot of stuff changed. I would add a lot of the ideas that didn't make it into the original such as going to the moon, and other places of travel. Even the female version of JC seemed rather interesting. Then I would re design some levels. Hong Kong in particular has an awful level design. I would also add more consequences to choices. In a way it would be a new game based on the original. I know that would be unpopular but I don't see the point in making the exact same game. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 05 Jul 2020 12:44 AM PDT I keep getting a crash during the last cutscene for the Rucker Extraction. It plays through to about when jensen jumps on the ship and viktor stops his troops from shooting and just as the doors on the ship closes it crashes, I have tried everything from starting the mission again and changing graphics and settings even putting it in windowed mode. but it keeps crashing on the same scene everytime. Any fix or way around this? [link] [comments] |
