Posted: 28 Jul 2020 05:20 AM PDT i just finished it and its honestly the most underrated game i ever played. If this game had longer main story, better soundtrack like hr and vendors selling u more stuff since u cant buy anything with the money and it ruins the rpg experience having all that cash tht u cant ever spend on anything big feels so bad,ni think it could have been one of the best games ever but the atmosphere, voice acting, city design, level design, side quests, weapons, augments made the game amazing for me. the side quests were ten times better thn the original main quest line. Posted: 28 Jul 2020 04:47 PM PDT So, I love stealth games. It's probably my favourite genre and what made me interested in Human Revolution years ago. I never got far into it and I can't remember much of it, but I do remember enjoying sneaking around. I've always heard people say how amazing the original is and call it one of the best games of all time so I was interested in checking it out. I saw it's less than a euro on Steam, but I still want to know if I'll enjoy it. I tried looking, but I can't seem to find any video without something about the story which I don't want spoiled for me, so I came here. It would be great if you had a video, but even a slight description would be great. Is it like the original Thief games? I don't expect it to play like the original, but I would still like if it was fun to sneak around. Thanks for any help. [link] [comments]
Just beat OG Deus Ex for the first time. Posted: 28 Jul 2020 09:12 AM PDT This is honestly one of the best RPGs i've ever played, the game is probably unfinished due to ridiculous deadlines and it's showing, yet it still delivers a very very satisfying experience. the attention they put into building this world with such little details that flesh it out to an amazing extent, like the sick man at the clinic mentioning Bob Page not having the gray death, the people living in this world aren't stupid, they are aware of what goes on around them, the AI "Morpheus" that predicts the future yet it's all up to you whether you defy that prophecy or fulfill it, no ending is compelling and every one has it's side effects that the whole world will have to live with. Join the illuminate and bring the 20th century back. Give the world it's freedom at the price of EVERYTHING they built the last 2 centuries. Or join with Helios and risk the AI betraying humanity at some point or trying to link everyone's mind to a network. Every ending is thought provoking, making you think about the different outcomes, my only gripe with it is that they only give you a quote with a minor cutscene at the end rather than a peek at how your decision affected the world. I had a few points that i didn't understand though, such as, why did everyone obeh Helios blindly like that after he locked their governments out? Weren't they suspecious of this AI? And why would destroying area 51 disable the world's technology forever? The infrastrucure and the schematics are there, can't they just rebuild the power stations and power everything back up again? Minus the illuminate and MJ212. And why would people live in villages bruh? 😂 the cities are still there, you only cut of the interent, it's not like you nuked the world or anything. Paul does not take friendly fire so well... Posted: 28 Jul 2020 11:36 AM PDT Back when I was in the hotel I helped him fight the MIBs and the UNATCO troops, I accidentally shot him, and when everyone was dead, he kept shooting at me even when I was helping him. He then stopped and the walked towards me and said: "Try that again and I'll kill you myself". Haha, c'mon man, everybody in the room was shooting and running around, I just was helping you and you got in the way... [link] [comments]
Xbox one controller on PC: input lag Posted: 28 Jul 2020 01:02 AM PDT Hi, GTX1080ti Core i7 7700 16GB ram 3440x1440p monitor I tried lowering a bunch of setting, or even turning them off, but it just feels extremely unresponsive. I also removed the in game vsync, and play on fullscreen. I played the game years ago on xbox 360 and it felt just fine. Thx for your help. [link] [comments] |
