| Welcoming New Moderators, Update on Subreddit Rules + May 2020 Community Thread Posted: 30 Apr 2020 10:19 PM PDT Hello folks, Over the years, this subreddit has grown into one of the largest gatherings of Deus Ex fans on the web. Reddit has a huge advantage of being focused on information and discussion, as well as sharing the news clearly and quickly, and that is a large reason of why people come here. As such, we have decided to clarify and change the rules regarding meme posts and "fluff" - posts with low value and effort. We would like to try to keep this place in good spirits and find a balance between discussion and entertainment. As a reminder, there's already a great subreddit dedicated to memes: /r/dayofsex! We would like to strongly encourage you to use it. The subreddit rules regarding meme and low effort posts have been updated, as follows: Memes and low effort/low value posts Posts that contain memes, low value, and/or low effort content that don't bring any value to the topic of the subreddit can be removed by the moderators if they deem that the post doesn't meet the quality required. This includes posts that could have been a reply in an already existing thread or post. These posts include subjects such as: Deleting and resubmitting posts In short, doing so is not allowed. Deleting and resubmitting a post because it has not gotten enough upvotes is not okay - please only submit your post only once. In case that it looks like the post is not visible at all, please message the mods. Sometimes reddit holds posts back due to low karma, account age, or some other variable only known to reddit. We will look into it if the post needs manual approval. We will also ask the users to post no more than one Meme/Fluff post per day. If you have made a lot of edits, please consider bundling them in one "roundup" post. Also, again, please consider using /r/dayofsex for all your meming needs - they'll be happy to have you! Thank you for reading, and please let us know what you think and if you have any other suggestions and thoughts on how to make this subreddit a better place for everyone. | Does anyone else like HR the most? Posted: 30 Apr 2020 05:41 PM PDT I know HR is widely regarded as pretty damn good, but I'm curious to see if anyone else on this sub likes it the most in the series. I know many like the 1st best. The characters were my favorite in the series, memorable moments such as interrupting Taggart's speech and fighting Namir, and the atmosphere make it my fav. Also, dare I say I thought the final boss reveal was really well done. Anyone else agree with me? And if not, what's the general consensus of how HR stacks up to the original in here? I love the OG but I am mind blown by the quality of this game again playing my second playthrough. [link] [comments] | ||

| Mankind divided running horribly Posted: 30 Apr 2020 11:26 PM PDT I just got mankind divided cause it's $7 on gog but the game feels horrible, even on lowest settings. I have a 3700x and a 5600 xt. | Mankind divided stalker question!!! Posted: 30 Apr 2020 01:58 PM PDT So as you know you can play the game however you want. I have a feeling I badly timed something and am looking for answers! So the mission that leads to the NSN part you meet the lady in that alley type area next to two garages. There's a side mission where you find clues of a stalker and he ends up being a cop which he's standing on a roof directly above where you meet the lady. When you approach the alley it auto starts a cutscene for the main mission with her Now here's my question! Those two garages are related to the stalker guy on the roof it's filled with photos and clues. When I approach the area I can either complete the stalker mission or do the cutscene or I can talk to the stalker after the cutscene... HOWEVER before I start the cut scene inside one of the lockers on my map is a guy with a vision cone (usually enemies have these and are white) but this one is green. After the cutscene the person/cone disappears! Iv tried dropping down from roofs and trying to stealth hack the garage open to see who it is but it starts the cut scene. One time I managed to open the panel and the game glitched cos it started to do both at the same time lol. So I decided it's impossible and just did the cut scene then talked to the stalker and never found out who that was or what it was related too... thanks for any answers! [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 30 Apr 2020 07:33 AM PDT I have a problem with FPS games. I tend to get nauseous when I play them even for just a minute . Usually the solution to this changing the FOV but with deus ex I cant seem to find such a feature and so I was wondering if there was a way I could deal with this issue.
