Rescuing the Fly Girl was one of the most genuine gaming moments Posted: 13 Apr 2020 04:35 PM PDT Some context first: I usually play the game in the very careful way. I sneak, check surroundings ten times before going from cover to cover, kill enemies with precise one-shots. I also hoard a lot, e.g. few stacks of energy bars that I rarely use and I even have 9 (!) praxis points waiting until there will be the moment when I really know I need some of the augmentations. Now imagine me, shooting the whole ammo I have without care, exploiting the fact that enemies refocus from Malik to me as soon as they are shot just once, finally running in the open space under fire just to get to the robot in time and give him typhoon in the face. I probably wasted 1 or 2 energy bars above my battery limit by accident, but I don't care, because Malik is worth every energy bar in the world. I just can't imagine scenario where she doesn't survive. [link] [comments]

I regret all the upgrades I did on the shotgun Posted: 13 Apr 2020 07:54 PM PDT It was impressive when blasting thugs and punks away but I got screwed repeatedly when trying to use it against Zhao's ambush strike team. And how do I keep the burst mod enabled? Goddamnit! The shotgun also takes way too much inventory space ... [link] [comments]

What did Brandon and Michiel use for the majority of the sampled sounds? Was it Roland JV-1080? Deus Ex Invisible War (2002) N/A Deus Ex Human Revolution (2011) -Barrett Boss Fight: ProjectSam Symphobia - Brass Effects -Everybody Lies: East West Voices Of Passion - Syria (I know he used his own vocalist, but I remember running into a sample in this library long ago.) -Numerous Tracks: Absynth (part of the infamous pluck used around the soundtrack comes from an organ preset, according to his one-time assistant) Mankind (2016) Mankind is a bit trickier since there are multiple composers - though I know Sascha's gear from other soundtracks. He uses a massive variety of gear, including sound design apps on his iPad. [link] [comments]
