Deus ex for me was a curse as it was a blessing Posted: 25 Jan 2020 10:47 AM PST Blessing :Along 2 months i finished the entire series and goddamn was it one of best times in my gaming life The writing is what stood out the most for me specially in 1st game its now my favorite game of all time taking the place of fallout new vegas Mankind had 2/3 of a story but the gameplay was incredible I will never forget the shoot out i had with cops during the curfew Invisible war was decent but I blame the platform more than the developers Human revolution was great but the 2nd half felt weaker Especially with that really weird dlc placement Curse: the mature real world writing of the 1st game have awoken me and gradually pushed me to dive into politics and religion and history to find out the true reasons why my country is currently a failure and i did find the reasons but now i feel utterly powerless when it came to doing anything about it So what am left with is shit feeling of powerlessness as am not a billionaire to have power over this corruption and free speech only leads to jail I didn't intend for this get sad or provoking but there are people like bob page but no one like jc so they run unopposed. submitted by /u/Nomad2145 [link] [comments]
