| Should I play Deus Ex with texture mods? Posted: 30 Jul 2021 06:40 PM PDT I want to play Deus Ex and a lot of people say that Vanilla Deus Ex is the best way to play. But, the graphics are dated, which is obvious considering it was released in the year 2000. And I'm in a Younger Generation of people who can't look at something below 480p because, we're fucking picky. I was thinking about using texture mods because they aren't total conversions of Deus Ex (like Revision and GMDX). Should I play it with texture mods or is that not really the best thing to do? | Help with a 3d render of Adam. Posted: 30 Jul 2021 08:02 PM PDT Hi guys I'm in need of a little help. I'm working on my wn 3d render of Adam Jensen but I'm having some trouble with the arms. I've trawled the internet to find references and while I've found high quality images the forearms in particular are proving difficult to puzzle out. Specifically where do they divide for the blades to come out of and what does the inside for arm look like (there's almost zero reference to this part.) I could probably trawl through all the games cut scenes to find what I need but who as that kind of time. So I'm wondering if anyone has a mankind divided Adam Jensen statue and would be willing to photograph the arms from all angles so I can get a clear image of what they look like and how they sperate. | Bought HR:DC for my son on sale so I reinstalled the game myself... Posted: 30 Jul 2021 08:46 AM PDT So first thing I do is boot up the game in 4K and immediately close it and go looking for mods. I love this game series but the micro sight you get from rifles at 4K is insane. Really wish the devs would get a cranial rectal extraction and just let us mod things like hud scaling. I mean this is some serious scaling problems. My personal gripe for years has always been how is quieter to smack someone with your metal bat arms than stab them through the lungs, but it also gives you more XP? I always wanted a mod to switch the two takedowns around. Lethal should be quieter but non-lethal is louder with more XP. Such a weird design choice the way it is vanilla. [link] [comments] |
