| PC freezes when I turn off Deus Ex GOTY on steam Posted: 13 Apr 2021 07:41 AM PDT When I exit the game my screen just stays black and the whole PC just freezes. Its really weird since I can alt+tab out of the game just fine, but as soon as I close it my pc just dies. I've tried closing it from the main menu as well as alt tabbing and closing the game with task manager but the result is the same. As far as I can tell that happens because I use OpenGL renderer since no other renderer causes this problem, however I'm forced to use it since when I use any other renderer I can't change the game brightness, and default is too dark for me. I'm also using the Kentie launcher if that makes any difference. Any help would be appreciated. [link] [comments] |
