    Pepper Spray no longer counteracts lasers (DX1)

    I was playing my millionth playthrough of Deus Ex, and all of a sudden using the pepper spray on lasers would set off alarms instead of counteract the lasers and allow me to pass. I used to use pepper spray all the time to avoid laser detection, so it kind of irritates me that all of a sudden it's stopped working. I've tried changing various settings in the menu, changing renders and messing with the framerate cap in Kentie's Launcher. Can any of you guys help me?

    Does anyone have or know the whereabouts of vector or wireframe versions of some of the logos in DX1? I'm looking for logos like UNATCO, VersaLife, etc to use to try to put into an engraving template.

    Okay, april fools aside. New mod here. It features more RPG/Immersive Sim mechanics, plenty of QOL and bugfixes, and some new mechanics kinda for kicks.

    Oh, also, this is a modded mod for a mod. Used to be a shitpost, then I de-shitposted it and had fun, and having fun is all I hope people will do with it. I'll leave the link here, take care, ya'll.

    See caption. Like in DX1, you could find the Morpheus AI or the famous orange conspiracy. What are your favorites in DX:HR? Also, are there any cool hidden story elements you only done if you leave the shortest path? Especially stuff which hints on the events in mankind divided?

    DX1 - can't launch Kentie's DX10 renderer preferences

    My 3rd playthrough of DX1 and want to go 'true to vanilla' this time so got myself

    1. Deus Ex GOTY
    2. Kentie's launcher
    3. Kentie's DX10 renderer
    4. New Vision 1.5

    Installations seemed to work except I want to access DX10 preferences in-game to turn on 'Classic lighting' (as described here : https://kentie.net/article/d3d10drv/index.htm#installation or here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKSo23fy-wM&ab_channel=Fonald3D , press T and type 'preferences' ). Result : nothing happens.

    TL;DR : *How do I access DX10 preferences in-game in DX1*? Thanks very much for any pointers.

    I don't like Human Revolution/Let's talk about plot

    Sorry for my english, guys

    I had stopped playing this game coz of plot. Hey, after half of the game, after all that investigation, after all of that hard fights there were nothing understood about "villian". When Barret's dying he's saying "it's not me, go there". When you go there there is another guy who telling you the same "it's not me, go there". Half of the game is completed there is no new plot information, you fed up with go-there filler guys and you arrive to your appartment. And there is Serif. And you tell him "I am Adam Jensen, I spent 35 hours for now, I went to China, and I am exactly at the same point where I was when It all had started. And I'm expecting that you Serif will say that there's a big matter in all of people that I met and knew". But he's be like "Forget about that shit. I think it's Illuminati". I have no problem with Illuminati (if they read it) but Serif devalued half of the game. Feels like I can give you my save from that point and if you will play through the game from that moment you will have nothing to lose about story. I was so angry so I'd just deleted the game and forget about it. There are a lot of ussues but aforementioned is general. And, of course, Adam Jensen is ridiculous. He's like spy from comedy movie.

    Sorry I didn't love the game but I just can't. What do think about my unpopular opinion?
