    DE:Mankind Divided systematic crash after prologue. Can’t continue playing

    Anyone tried the game on PS5?

    My game systematically crashes after the prologue, during the Praga introduction sequence at the train station.

    I can't seem to bypass that part and I the earliest save file is before the end of the prologue mission. Quite annoying.

    Is this a known issue on PS5? Any solution?

    I download a Deus Ex and was playing the tutorial mission when I started running insanely fast and dialogue kept cutting off is there a way to fix this?

    "Factory Zero" achievement: anything I should know?

    I'm replaying Deus Ex: Human Revolution (the Director's Cut) and having a lovely time. I already have almost all achievements (including all other "The Missing Link" achievements), but I never did get "Factory Zero." I'd like to try and get it this time.

    Anything I should know? Weird bugs or anything? For instance,

    - Am I screwed for this achievement if I pick up the equipment stash early on (instead of just putting on the armor)?

    - Any problems if I reload a saved game in pursuit of this achievement? Saving everyone with no augs sounds like a pain in the ass, so I'm thinking of saving right when that false choice presents itself, then just powering through for the achievement - then reloading and just spending Praxis points to make the rest easier from that point forward.......

    Please give me any heads up that you know of about getting this achievement in 2020...

    Hi! I just bought deus ex GOTY edition on steam and I have a few questions.

    1. What's the best way to do a non lethal takedown? The stunrod doesn't actually knock people out, or maybe I'm just doing it wrong.

    2. I just finished mission 2 , and there were a lot of keypads that I could not find the code for. How do I find the codes? Where should I look?

    3. How do I make cameras not see me? Every camera sees me even though there isn't any blind spots, or maybe I'm the blind one lol

    4. Why does aiming take so long? I have pistols on the third tier but it takes a solid 10 seconds for the reticle to close in, and by the time it does, the enemy sees me.

    5. Are the enemies supposed to do this much damage? There's hardly any medkits and my legs are pretty much bones lmao

    These are probably either just stuff the game does, or me being dumb

    Enjoying everything so far tho!

    What characters do you hope to see return in the next Deus Ex?

    I know another one hasn't been announced but if it was, who are some characters you would want to see return, whether it be from Human Revolution or Mankind Divided?

    I'd like to see Quinn and Otar

    Quinn will probably make a return at some point since he works with the collective. I know he was referenced in MD but I'd still like to see him fully return, I loved his dialogue and character in The Missing Link

    Otar was one of my favorite characters from MD, especially when he takes over the Divali and he's willing to help Jensen out when Prague is under martial law, it'd be cool to see him again in another side quest or something

    I'm probably missing or forgetting about some others I'd like to see again but those are just a couple examples.

    Who'd you like to see return?

    Hey all, I own DC and the original on Steam. I remember the DC looking a bit off when I replayed it a few years ago, any mods to patch it up or should I just play the original?

    Edit: Also I know about the filter being different in DC, I just know there's a few more bugs in DC.

    Anna Navarre not at mandlery's office after airport incident

    I recently completed the mission on the 747, I chose to keep talking to lebedev until anna kills him and then I went back to base, when I did I was told manderly wanted to see me, and when I went to his office, Anna was also waiting for him, there was dialog that expressed this as well, however, when I reloaded a save, from after she killed lebedev on the 747 and went back to base, she was not waiting for manderly this time. What happened? Is my game glitched? As far as I can tell I didn't do anything different this time.

    Do you think the huge press coverage and sales of Cyberpunk 2077 will convince Square Enix to greenlight the next Deus Ex?

    Discounting the post-release controversy, Cyberpunk has generated an enormous buzz so do you think SE will want to capitalise on this thirst for the subgenre or are they too out of touch?

    What would you love to see in the next Deus Ex?

    More Jensen or a new story? Wider variety of hubs or a larger open world? The ability to ask for this rather than never?

    I'm genuinely curious as to what other Deus Ex fans would love to see from the next game so, what comes to mind?

    So with cyberpunks release I'm reminded of this game series, as a huge fan of the genre I'm kinda baffled I've never played this series. Question is, is the gameplay fun? If so, where do i start? I'm afraid of starting with the original and being put off by it being older.

    Cannot save settings & games - Deus Ex GOTY + GMDX

    I just installed Deus Ex GOTY from Steam and installed the GMDX package. I'm running Windows 10. Everything is the latest version.

    I can run the game just fine, but it seems that my settings are not saved. For example, the D3D renderer and resolution reset each time I restart. And I cannot save games either. If I restart the game, the saves are gone.

    I looked in the game directory (specifically GMDX system subdirectory where the game seems to store settings), and it's clear that the game ini file is not modified by the launcher. Likewise, there's no GMDX save dir either.

    Has anyone else had this problem?

    How to crouch in "Deus Ex: The Conspiracy" in PS2 controller?

    I tried everything, but I don't know how to use the analog button of my PS2 controller TO CROUCH on my DX the conspiracy!

    Could someone please teach me how to do this, pmease?? Without crouching it is almost impossible to play this game! 😫

    Really enjoyed both the Revision and GMDX.

    Both were from this sub's recommendation. Is there any others which could 'change up' the way deus ex plays?
