Posted: 13 Nov 2020 07:01 PM PST Earlier today on the prison escape level, i knocked Manderley out and carried him onto Jocks chopper while he was unconscious, turns out you are still carrying him when you load into the next level, i was wondering if this could have an effect on the story, like Manderley being your prisoner? I know this game accounts for all kinds of weird things the player does and I want to know before i continue so I'm not having to babysit him like the gnome from Half Life 2 Ep2 (I'm playing on GMDX, but I don't think that should change the answer) [link] [comments]
Can the social augmentation lead to hidden dialogues like in DXHR? Posted: 13 Nov 2020 02:50 PM PST I find the interface distracting, altough it's nowhere near as bad as it was in the previous game, where part of it would sometimes hide a character's face... So far it didn't seem to unlock "secret" conversations (just got back from Golem City) so I'm thinking of deactivating it. [link] [comments]
Any recommendation on the hidden Augs? Posted: 13 Nov 2020 10:04 AM PST They seem fun, but I cannot make up my mind on any, and the "normal" augs seem al perfectly fine to do the job. [link] [comments]
My thoughts on Mankind Divided running on Xbox Series X Posted: 13 Nov 2020 09:28 AM PST This was the first game I popped into my Series X once I got it up and running. I was disappointed to not see One X enhancements of the game and, having played on PC as well with max settings, I was curious as to how this would run knowing what it can look like on PC. First - still running at the original resolution and has a 30fps cap. Those aren't going to change it seems. That said - the picture quality is very much improved. No dropped frames or screen tearing ever is also pretty nice. What I enjoyed most was almost no loading times. Maybe a few seconds after you die to sync things back up. One notable point of enjoyment was the, "Jensen getting onto the subway," loading screen. The game clearly loaded faster than the cutscene takes to happen in real-time and you see the loading bar just kind-of waiting for Jensen to get on the dang subway car. At this point they could remove the loading bar altogether because it just cuts to his arrival immediately. Very nice improvement from the old days when the game could get hung up at this screen. I noticed the game playing so smoothly that it almost gets ahead of itself. Loading into areas and pulling up the weapon wheel will sometime catch the system still pulling the icons in. Very good experience. Worth playing. Wish squeenix hit us with 4K (or even 1080p) output but it is what it is. [link] [comments] |
