Posted: 26 May 2020 09:41 AM PDT I stacked a couple of boxes to climb on top of a wall. It was dark inside of this closed off area but it didn't look "out of bounds" since there were trees and ground. I was running along the wall making sure it was safe and ended up hitting an invisible wall along the perimeter and fell in. I explored the area. No secrets. Saw vines on one wall and thought "you clever devs. Thank you." Nope apparently can't climb them. So I guess I broke the game. Is there a lot of this type of stuff to look out for? I played Half-Life 1 and never found a glitch other than a couple scripted events breaking. There were dozens of methods to prevent this kind of thing. The fact that they used an invisible wall just confuses me since they just as easily could have ran it around the perimeter to prevent me from getting up there in the first place. It felt like the stackable boxes and crates, and the wide ledge were there to encourage exploration but... Lol guess not. [link] [comments]
Gamebreaking bug in HR: Director's Cut - Tai Yong Shuttle doesn't arrive Posted: 26 May 2020 01:21 PM PDT So I got the entire series for like 5 dollars total off of Steam in Square Enix's 53-game charity bundle that was on sale a few weeks back, and since then I've fallen in love with the game...except now I've encountered a game-breaking bug that I can't seem to get around. I'm in Hengsha right now and have just gotten the Tai Yong ID card from van Brueggen and shot my way out of the Alice Garden Pods. The only problem is that when I go to the station where I'm supposed to be able to board the shuttle to the Tai Yong factory, the shuttle doesn't arrive, ever. I've searched all over the internet, and I've been able to find a total of two or three threads on this problem, none of which had any specific solutions to the issue other than "load an earlier save and see if it'll work." (I have tried that, and loaded the save from immediately before I saw Brueggen - it still didn't work.) Is there anything else I can do here, or is my only option to just keep trying older and older saves with the hope that one of them will work? [link] [comments]
