Can't get rid of mods for Deus Ex 1? Posted: 03 Jan 2020 08:39 PM PST I downloaded a couple of the popular mods for it a while back on steam, but then uninstalled them but the textures are still there. I've tried reinstalling the game but it didn't change them. How do I get it back to vanilla? [link] [comments]

Does Prague get more content on revisits. Posted: 03 Jan 2020 09:53 PM PST Besides side quest, is there any reason to re-explore every area again for change. Did I really knock out the bulk of Prague discoveries after exploring every section and hacking every terminal the first time. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Jan 2020 07:36 PM PST So I bought the game on sale and have been really enjoying it but today I tried to load my game and it won't load. Is this common on pc? And is there a fix? [link] [comments]
Some things I noted while replaying A Criminal Past. (MINOR CRIMINAL PAST SPOILERS) Posted: 03 Jan 2020 02:34 AM PST I'm starting a new thread here and this is one of my first reddit post ever since I'm more of a lurker but I didn't find a thread that discussed what I found in the DLC A Criminal Past. I may be wrong so redirect me if so. I have analyzed some little details I found while replaying the DLC: First, I noticed that when Adam starts the interrogation with Delara he holds a little allegory of Justice, a little statue. Well turns out that once you get to the Warden's office you find the exact same one but well... Much bigger. Then, something much more obvious but I didn't see discussed is what was Guerrero right about? Adam: "You know Guerrero was right." Delara: "About what?" Adam: "The terror attack. It never happened. [little pause] Gotta wonder what else he was right about." Right after that, Delara seems to get super anxious and calls who I believe is J. Manderley but not sure. So, I got super suspicious. Did Guerrero know, somehow, Delara was a mole in TF29 working for the Illuminatis? Or did Adam just criticize TF29's higher-ups for their incompetence? (Knowing he has a history of disobeying orders and troubles with hierarchy it wouldn't seem out of the picture). Here's my little theory. Either Adam has made up the story using objects around him in Delara's office (the statue) Usual Suspects style (if you know what I mean) to lure her into a dead end and hopefully confirm his suspicion about Delara being a mole (possibly Guerrero's information) or the whole operation inside the correctionnal facility really happened and he changed some details using objects scattered around Delara's office. Add to that the fact that you can decide what you did about Guerrero at the end of the interrogation and it seems to point that Adam made up or changed the story to confirm Delara's masquerade. Maybe I went a little too far, who knows. But it was nice to find some details scattered around nevertheless so for that kudos to Eidos, loved the DLC. Let me know what you think about the whole thing. Does anybody have a save game? Posted: 03 Jan 2020 02:45 AM PST I started to play Deus Ex HR again since I never finished it and simply used my old save game. However, my save is broken. I am currently in the missing link section of the game and I am at the second mission "In the belly of the beast" and I am supposed to do a biometric scan however when I press the button nothing happens and to fix the game you would need a save before you entered the area so the game can reload it and it hopefully works. But my last save game is in hengsha and I really don´t want to replay all of that again, so if someone has a savegame that he might share with me preferably right before the biometric scan that would be really helpful and nice. The playthrough that I did was stealth and I wanted to go for the "Foxiest of Hounds" achievement but if your Save doesn´t fulfill that and it isn´t stealth-oriented it would still be ok.
