I'd recommend watching the first Terminator (1984) and the second (1991) before watching this, but it really has some serious Deus Ex (especially Human Revolution and Mankind Divided) vibes

This is a hard cyberpunk (only songs 125 BPM and higher) playlist inspired by the Deus Ex games. Hope you enjoy it!

What's the most money you've ever made in a DX game?

I just finished my 5th or 6th playthrough of DX:HR, and I decided to really go all out on a money-making strategy I'd discovered in a previous run.

I call it: Sell ALL The Guns!!

I prefer Pacifist playthroughs, so the only weapons I had to carry for my own use were the Stun Gun, PEPS, and Tranq Rifle. This allowed me to pick up and sell every weapon equipped by every NPC in the game. Or at least, all those who exist in a hub area that has vendors, or an area connected to one of those areas. And as long as you grab them one at a time, they never get converted into mere ammo. So you get the full value of each and every one:

    • Combat Rifle: 630c
    • Shotgun: 750c
    • Heavy Rifle: 1250c
    • Machine Pistol: 380c
    • 12mm Pistol: 180c

In the end, I'd knocked out every single gun-toting NPC in the game, police included, and sold all their guns*. I also sold as much ammo as I could find and carry, searched high and low for all the credit chits I could find, and hacked every single terminal in the game for their credit data stores. I ended the game with a whopping 216,488 credits.

    * I decided not to spend the time selling every single 12mm Pistol or Machine Pistol in the game, because that would have taken even more time than I'd already wasted, lol. I did get most of the Machine Pistols and some of the 12mm Pistols, though. I also failed to realize that you can return to the DLC mission's zone after it's done, so I missed out on some solid credits in there. I figure that I could have extracted another ~10,000 credits if I'd really gone all out with selling guns, plus another 30,000 if I'd avoided buying the first three pairs of Praxis kits from L.I.M.B.

Anyone else decided to waste a ton of time on such a silly endeavor? :)
