Just wanted to remind everyone of the amazing people behind HR and MD

I made a Mankind Divided video on my tiny 50 follower YouTube channel 2 weeks ago and 5 of the people who worked on the game showed up and commented on my video! What great people! I am confident that if Sqenix green lights another game these people are SO ready to step in and give us something incredible. Hopeful for the future of Deus Ex and enjoying Cyberpunk right now!

Putting out some strong Deus Ex vibes here...

Did any one else catch this? Possible reference in Cyberpunk 2077 to Mankind Divided and Orchid!

Seriously, get Cyberpunk. It filled the void

It's like I'm playing another, bigger Deus Ex. A lot of the designs for things like chairs look like they came straight from HR and MD

    Cyberpunk 2077 and Mankind Divided

    Posted: 09 Dec 2020 11:48 PM PST

Cyberpunk 2077 was billed as the game to reinvent modern gaming. In the same manner that GTA 3 and the original Deus Ex did.

So far it looks like an open world version of Deus Ex: Making Divided. I expected a lot more innovation.

In my head I thought the new Deus Ex games will never compare to Cyberpunk, but it doesn't appear to be the case. Whether we look at story, length, gameplay options, dialogue etc Mankind Divided stands strong. I think the only place they've got Deus Ex beat is their characters are more developed generally. And the side missions are great. This tells me that if they make a new game with a decent budget we could get something special.

And before anyone says anything I didn't create this thread to bash Cyberpunk, I just wanted a discussion on how similar the gameplay is to Deus Ex. I know it just came out, this is a first impressions comparison.

Is there a mod or trainer to make The Missing Link optional in the Human Revolution Director's Cut?

    Posted: 09 Dec 2020 05:37 PM PST

I think The Missing Link is good and am glad I completed it (more than once), but I agree with those who say it rather disrupts the momentum of the narrative - that slow but steady, claustrophobic escalation from dystopian sadness to hitting the conspirators hard - which makes Deus Ex: Human Revolution's narrative so special.

I saw someone on youtube who had some mod that allowed him to toggle the gold filter on or off (as he preferred) in the Director's Cut.

Along those same lines, does anyone know if there's a mod or trainer out there, compatible with the latest Steam version, that can allow me to potentially skip Human Revolution's DLC and go straight from the Hengsha docks to the Omega Ranch if I so choose?

    Just wondering if this exists...........

What’s with the hate towards Cyberpunk on this sub?

    Posted: 09 Dec 2020 10:26 PM PST

I haven't come across as much hate from people who haven't played it anywhere else compared to the Deus Ex subreddit

    Cyberpunk UI Scaling Possible?

    Posted: 09 Dec 2020 09:41 PM PST

    Hi Guys,

Yeh i know wrong sub, i tried to post the Q in r/cyberpunkgame and for some reason the mods removed it.

As the title says, is a way to down scale the UI on the PC version. Im finding the icons/map take up just to much of the screen.

    I'm running at 4k. borderless.

Anyone else hoping CyberPunk's (hopeful) success means a push for a new Deus Ex? I know the team are currently working on the upcoming GotG game, but hopefully it'll be enough for it to become their next project 🤞

    Deus Ex: The Fall remake?

    Posted: 09 Dec 2020 09:07 AM PST

All this this talk about remaking DX 1 made me think that modding Deus EX HR or MD into a remake f of The Fall would be a project that could be done by fans.
