Playing Human Revolution for the first time, accidentally cheesed the hell out of the first boss. Posted: 26 Dec 2020 09:03 AM PST So basically I couldnt figure out how to take down this guy, I unloaded a million bullets into his head and shot him twice with a rocket launcher and he didn't give a shit. I decided to try locking him in the side room in the boss area, so I lured him in there then ran to the computer and locked the door. He sat there pressed against the garage door for the next 5 minutes throwing grenades at himself until he blew himself up and died. I love the creative approaches this game lets you take. Lmao. I need help adding the Deus Ex Nihilim mod to DX1 Posted: 26 Dec 2020 08:24 PM PST I have the steam GOTY version of deus ex. I also have kenties launcher. I have also copied the DXN ini and userini to my documents/deusex/system folder. I copied the kentie launcher and named it the same name as the ini files. And also created a shortcut to that launcher with INI=(the DXN ini) and USERINI=(the DXN userini). When I open the shortcut and start the game. I get the DXN start screen. But, whenever I start a new game I get the base deus ex character creation and start to liberty island. How do I fix this? [link] [comments]

GMDX V10 runs terribly. Am I missing something obvious? Posted: 26 Dec 2020 05:43 PM PST My (relevant) specs: 1080ti i7-6700K 16 GB Ram For some reason I'm getting awful performance from GMDX, like ~55-60 FPS in menus and in game with D3D9, and it's very unstable (like 50-120 FPS) with D3D10. Running through Liberty Island, the game suffers from all sorts of microstutters and the music is insanely screwed up. The base game with Kentie Launcher caps at 144 FPS and runs like butter, but I cannot for the life of me get GMDX to run well. I tried installing it without New Vision and HDTP and didn't see any results. Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to boost performance? [link] [comments]
JCDentonLikesUNATCO leaf of story Posted: 26 Dec 2020 09:15 AM PST If you, during the mission where you should activate the NSF transmitter, go to the NSF base, and then read datacubes and such, and then return to the apartment WITHOUT activating transmitter, you will trigger a storyline where JCDenton says he want to stay with UNATCO and they go separate parts. I like that part of story, but the only thing that happens is that the flag JCDentonLikesUNATCO is set to true in the dev console. I suppose this is supposed to trigger a storyline where you stay with UNATCO and fight NSF for the rest of game, possibly eradicating NSF. Anyone that knows a mod or similiar that re-adds this storyline to the main game? Haven't found any of it in Deus Ex: Revision either. [link] [comments]
