Need help with (Blind playthrough) of Deus Ex (And not trying to be Rambo and dying a LOT!)

    Hi all,

I am in the midst of a long let's play of Deus Ex with GMDX mod and i loved the idea of playing it from day one BUT I find that I can't complete some of the quests without taking hours:

    1. Getting lost in the cities and quests, no matter how thorough which leads to:

    2. Coming on encounters that are completely beyond me (Bots, Commandos, etc.)

    3. I am able to put together the story from the text and dialogue but I find myself taking hours for quest that should take 30 minutes or so.

For example, I spent over 8 HOURS trying to complete a certain quest in Hong Kong. I got total loss, tried to kill every in trying to complete it and couldn't complete I had to watch a Youtube Walkthhrough and I was STUNNED with the actual solution and had to back track 8 hours of saves and gameplay to finish it!

This happen a few times and I have never had such a tough time with an RPG. I have played, Fallout 1, New Vegas, Dragon Age Origins, Vampire the Masqerade Bloodlines, The Witcher, etc etc. (You get the picture) but I am REALLY struggling with this game.

My let's play progress is available on Youtube but would really appreciate some non-spoiler tips on how to best play this great game. Thanks!

Tl;dr How to properly play this game as an experience RPGer who has gotten over his head in some quests and missing clues and getting lost and taking forever to complete quests due to that and other reasons.

Just went an entire playthrough without setting off any alarms and didn't get the trophy. Is there a hidden alarm somewhere or is the trophy just unattainable?

Why does Jensen need to spend battery power to take out one dude?

It's ridiculous. This era of cyborgs are trash.
Sam Fisher can do infinite takedowns. Assassin Brotherhood can do infinite takedowns. And this dude needs to charge his battery every takedown to not shut down?

Being infected by the NSF bug is a good thing as the NSF bug opens your eyes to reality?

No wonder Walton Simons wants to kill JC Denton!
